PUPS IN THEIR NEW HOMES (5/15/2014)

All the pups are gone except for Red boy (Sada) and Brown girl (Shansi) .. the two we have decided to keep for ourselves. It's so hard to see the others leave, but I am very pleased they have loving new owners to live with. And, now I have new friends also. Below are some of my pups with their new owners and at their new homes.

PUPS AT 8½ WEEKS (4/27/2014)

At 8½ weeks old, these are the only pups still with me. The rest will be leaving shortly and I will be down to just Red boy and Brown girl .. the two we have decided to keep for ourselves. Puppy breath ... just can't get enough of it! I'm going to miss my babies!

PUPS AT 7 WEEKS (4/17/2014)

At 7 weeks old, these little guys aren't little anymore ... weights range from 17 to 19 lbs!! I have my own football team!!!

PUPS AT 6 WEEKS (4/10/2014)

At 6 weeks old, these little guys are growing by leaps and bounds!! They can barely all fit on their new doggy bed ... LOL!!

The babies are all sleepily curled up for a nap after their first meal of kibble mixed with goat's milk and presented for their dining pleasure and entertainment!! LOL!!

PUPPIES AT TWO WEEKS (3/12/2014)

It's been an exciting week. Eyes are opening, teeth are breaking the gums and they are sort of walking! I didn't have a large enough basket so I put nine of them in the plastic box while their bedding was being changed early in the week. Now, only seven of them fit in there. They are weighing in between three and four and a half pounds. Big Red is leading the charge followed closely by Maroon. Little Purple runt girl is moving on up and only one ounce behind now.

PUPPIES AT ONE WEEK (3/5/2014)

Sarina is such a good mommy. She keeps the pups spotlessly clean and has plenty of milk. The four boys at one week weigh in at around 2-3 pounds apiece; the girls at one week weigh in at 1-3/4 to 2-1/2 pounds each.

February 26, 2014 - Woke up this morning with Sarina laying on top of me! Her contractions had started. First pup born at 5:00am --- last pup born at 11:25am --- 7 Girls & 4 Boys --- I'M A GRAMMA!!!


February 24, 2014 - Sarina started panting today ... hope this happens soon ... she's so uncomfortable!


February 18, 2014 - X-rays done today!! Looks like we have 10-11 pups swimming around in there!


January 31, 2014 ... pretty sure there are puppies in there ... will be taking Sarina into the Vets for x-rays soon to see if we can get a count.


December 26, 2013 ... Second breeding with Hawk and Sarina today ... everything is going well ... fingers crossed we get pups.


December 25, 2013 ... What a wonderful Christmas present! We did the first breeding with Hawk and Sarina today!!


December 9, 2013 - Sarina is in season ... so now we wait for just the right time to breed her to Hawk.
