The Dark Kingdom
Queen Beryl is the leader of the Dark Kingdom and was sealed away by Sailormoon's mother 1,000 years a go after destroying the moon kingdom. She later returned, but was destroyed by Sailormoon and the other senshi.
Jedaite was the first of the four generals to try to collect energy (and in my opinion, the most unimaginative in doing it). He was defeated by Sailormoon, Mars and Mercury after trying to set up a trap for them at the airport. Beryl later killed him for his incompetence.
Nephrite was probably the longest living general and tried many diffrent ways to serve his queen, but he was eventually turned good by Naru when they fell in love. Unfortunately, Zoisite, wanting to show her supieriority, killed Nephrite.
Before I say anything about Zoisite, let me say clearly that Zoisite is male. That being said, Zoisite's mission was to find the Ninjoushou, in order to get the Illusion Silver Crystal. Beryl later destroyed her after she failed multiple times.
Kunzite, the strongest of the four generals, although angry with Beryl for killing his love Zoisite, blamed the senshi. He didn't last very long, for in a battle with the senshi, Sailormoon killed him by reflecting his attack back on him with her crystal.
Queen Metallia, the real enemy, was more of an entity that a person. She was defeated when she gave her power to Beryl to fight the senshi and lost.
