Michiru is a beautiful and elegant girl who is admired by the younger girls. Michiru is extremly talented in playing the violin which the viewer gets to hear sometimes. She often plays with Haruka who accompanies her on the piano.

As Sailorneptune, she tends to be much colder, but, unlike Haruka, she is friendly with the inner senshi. Sailorneptune and Uranus' mission was (in Sailormoon S) to find the talismans which were hidden in pure heart crystals, in order to prevent the Silence from coming. The talismans, however, were hidden inside Michiru and Hauka which was not revealed until one of the Witches 5 tried to shoot Sailoruranus and Neptune jumped in the way to save her and got hit. Her talisman was released and Sailoruranus shot herself and her talsiman was released too. Although they should have died ( a rule of the talisman carriers) Sailorpluto saved them with her garnet orb.

Althouhg it may seem that Sailoruranus is the leader of the two and that Sailorneptune just echoes her, this is completely untrue. Michiru's actions are simply not as extreme as Uranus is and not as anxious to jump into a fight. In fact, Sailorneptune saves Uranus many times throughout the series.

Neptune and Uranus basically do everything together. They play music together, they fight together, and in the final battle with Galaxia who they thought they could trick by wearing her controller wristbans and then turn on her, they die together.
