More Mountains
Here is a Rainbow we seen at Athabasca falls.
These Goats just walk along the road all year round eating the salt off the road.
Here is her Baby (kid).
Here is a Pic of the Columbia Ice Fields. it is a glacier that is slowly melting, in the 1800's it use to be where I took this pic from. We had to hike up from where the cars are parked at the bottom.
We had to hike up the mountain to get to where the ice was. I thought I was going to die it was a long hike up there and the air got really thin near the top and it made it really hard to breath.
All the way up the Mountain we kept seeing signs that looked like this and it was sorta scarry because some of them told stories about people who had died going up there.. and it made me almost stop but everyone else kept going and I didn't want to be the only one not going.
This is what the Glacier looked like you have to stay inbetween these lines they have marked out for you or else you can fall into cravasses in the ice and it is really dangerious many people have died from falling into them.
Here is a Pic of Mike (one of Daves best friends) Angie (his Niece) and My self it was a long hike up but we finaly made it.
Here I am drinking the Glacier water. I was VERY thursty after hiking up there and decided to take the risk of catching Beaver Fever. The water was so cold and refreshing it was the best drink I have ever had.
As soon as we got to the bottom of the mountain I realised that the Ice had scratched me up when knelt down to get that drink of water. It really hurt but I decided it was well worth the pain.
