Domi became a Leaf on Apr. 7/95 he was obtained from the Winnipeg Jets
in exchange for Mike Eastwood and the Leafs' third-round pick
(Brad Isbister) in 1995 Entry Draft.
Originally Tie Domi was the Leafs second-round choice, 27th overall, in
the 1988 Entry Draft.
In 1996-97 Tie Domi set career-highs for goals, assists and points. and
he exceeded 200 penalty minutes for the fifth time in his career.He
placed fifth in the league in penalty minutes and he has led his club in
total PIM's for each of the past six seasons.
In 1994 Tie Domi Won the Jets' Most Popular Player Award.
