I did not worry, for I had the Lord,
And in my heart I was beginning to be bored.
For I knew the basics, and that's all I need to know.
For Christ to save me and helped me grow.
But I had a problem, I was afraid to share.
But honestly, I did not care,
For the ones who hell bound
In Heaven they would not be found.
However, the Lord came back to earth that day.
Took everyone to Heaven far, far, away.
In Heaven, I passed family,
Neighbors, Grandparents, and Friends
Going out the gate, to a dead end.
Each time one passed, they spit in my face
Because I did not share with them
God's wonderful grace.
The grace they wanted Oh! So bad,
But it was to late, they had all had been had
They were going to Hell because of me.
I did not witness
Because heaven was my home to be.
Luckily, I fell on the floor,
And hit my head,
On the table,
Beside my bed.
It was all a dream, but very real
And I wanted you to know
How it made me feel.
I got up and got dressed for school,
Not focused on being popular and cool.
I just had to tell my friends about God's grace.
Carrying through the halls,
My Bible and the biggest smile on my face.
Now for my friends that hear this poem
And are like me and care,
I hope you're not afraid to share.
If so, find a friend
Who will make witnessing a pair.
But most of all I hope
I'm saving you from a nightmare.
Because one day this may be real
And not be your dream.
(think about this)
How would you like to wake up
on the other side of the team?
