As I'm sure you know, Maynard and the Kenton Band backed Nat "King" Cole on the Pete Rugolo arrangement of Orange Colored Sky on 8/16/50. This 1994 CD contains that track, along with 21 other familiar Cole tunes, such as Unforgettable, (Get Your Kicks On) Route 66, Mona Lisa, Straighten Up and Fly Right, Ramblin' Rose, and the Nat and daughter Natlie duet of Unforgettable, which was made possible through the magic of modern recording techniques, years after Nat's death. So besides the MF track, this CD is jam-packed with great stuff.

As I'm sure you know, Maynard and the Kenton Band backed Nat "King" Cole on the Pete Rugolo arrangements of Orange Colored Sky and Jambo on 8/16/50. This 1991 CD contains those tracks, along with 15 other familiar Cole tunes backed by big bands. This is really a GREAT, CD!
