HELP

All I ever wanted was the light
It's all I was taught to see and to love
I strived for it
Fought for it
Studied for it

I worked through all things in my path
I thought it would surely be mine
But I find that I am not worthy
What more can I do

When I walk the path to salvation
I find the gates are closed
When I try to get around them
There is no door, top, nor bottom

I have helped all those I could
I have stood on my own and still stayed strong
I have lead and I have loved
And still no door for me
Where have I gone wrong?
I sit in the hallway that leads to peace
And can not find
Where I am not strong
Many religions believe it is good to help others. It is also essential to let those you care for help you, so That they, too, may reach the enlightened plane; what/wherever that may be. Do not forget to let others succeed at your expense. What will it cost you but a smile? this has been copywritten by Dammuth Knight 2000
