WHAT IS IRC Internet Relay Chat (IRC) lets people all over the world participate in real time conversations. IRChat is the exchange typed-in messages of users who connected to a chat-site within the same channel. There are two type of chatting, a group chat and a private one. A group chat is like a conference (someone type a message, everyone see it). A private chat can be arranged between two parties who meet initially in a group chat.

IRC CLIENT SOFTWARE In order to take part in IRChat, you need to use a client program to connect to one of the many IRC servers.
Here some popular IRC client programs:
mIRC - Windows 95/NT.
Ircle - Macintosh.
