An interesting experience took place in my life about a month ago. I was at a youth conference as an assistant to the Executive Director. The Conference had grown from 400 to 5200 in 4 years.

As I sat in my hotel room after the first night I began to read from Ezekiel 36. I had recently felt that perhaps God was no longer interested in me and that I had failed him too many times as a minister of the Gospel. I read these words:

I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws. (Ezekiel 36:26-27)

I realized that God had not left me but that I had left Him. In articles to come I will take the time to talk all about what God has been doing in my life but until then I would like to encourage you to not let up in your quest to know Him. Though He disciplined the Israelites for their sins He never disowned them. The truth is... they are STILL His people. He has never left them or forsaken them. If after thousands of years of rebelling against the truth of the Messiah God still loves them, then God certainly loves and cares for you.

All the best in your quest to know Him more.
