My Snow-globe Life #2
by johnnie b. baker
Snow-globe stories included -
I made it to my hotel room, quite proud that I was in a new foreign city completely blank and wasted and
walked straight home. My instincts did not fail me. And once safe and alone, my entire body let out its anger at
the abuse I had inflicted upon it that day and week. I darted into the bathroom and barely got my pants off before
my colon exploded. As I sat there sweating and spinning, emptying out my stomach and intestines with each
convulsion, I started to get nauseous, until I began projectile vomiting with the same intensity I shat. I
sprayed the wall in front of me until I could direct it towards the shower. Once finished, weakened and afraid
of it all starting again, I dropped off the toilet onto the bathroom floor and passed out.
