62 MORTIMER Route History

New TTC route assumed from Hollinger Bus Lines, running from Broadview & Danforth Avenues via north on Broadview, east on Mortimer Avenue and south on Coxwell Avenue to an off-street loop on the northeast corner of Coxwell & Danforth. Rush hour short turn service provided to Toronto East General Hospital at Coxwell & Mortimer. Operated from the former Hollinger Garage (the TTC's Woodbine Garage) until transferred to Birchmount garage in the spring of 1956.
