and feel the awe that surrounds this holy place....

Recent Snapshots

These pictures were taken in July 1999 at the Moffet Field "Wings Over Moffett" Airshow.

Replica GeeBee R-2 - This aircraft is the famed GeeBee R-2. It was a experimental racer from the 1920-30's. It's a very hard aircraft to fly and there has been many deaths of pilots. If you wish more information on this aircraft, you may visit the website of the pilot who flies this unique aircraft at GeeBee.com.

Blue Blue - Yes, I am into aircraft of all sorts, but I am not an expert. I just know that I love this amphibious plane, yet I do not know the name. I just named it "Big Blue".

P-47 Thunderbolt - This aircraft was easy on the eyes. It was not flying at the show. But when you look at it, you can just picture the strength of the engine, and the whine of the propeller.

Offical Website for these "Stoli" MIG's - RedStarMigs.com

Stoli Mig-17 - This is one of two old MIG-17's that two local men bought from a former Soviet Block Nation, and then restored. They are sponsored (what isn't these days?) by a imported Vodka maker.

Agression In Red - A shot of both MIG's in line, with one of them in the background. Notice the gun ports near the nose of the aircraft.

From the Front - Picture of the nose of one of the MIG's.

Taxi'n After Flight - Here are the twin MIG's after a great show, where they left streaks of smoke all over the sky. And some eardrums sore.:)

Friends

Eben
I have known Eben for over two years, and we have been through alot together. Even though he lives in South Africa, we tend to have the same things in common. He is a great guy and I have to say one of my best friends on the Net. Eben is also a founding member of the UBNGB (United Brotherhood of Neo-Gerbil Causes) And also the FNM (Free the Nipple Movement).

Jeanny and Larry

Ah, these two special people are beyond words to discribe them. They are so much alike that you can only tell them apart by the names. Jeanny is a bright personality who is so full of spunk and spirit that she is able to brighten any room she walks into. Her sense of humor is very creative, and I think that is why we have been able to create such a special friendship...Larry, he has a gifted mind that will have no bounds in his life. I do feel that he is willing and able to accomplish anything that he puts his mind to. He can see far outside just the near presence that we hold. A person with a mind such as Larry's is very rare indeed. He will go far. Oh, they are in love. Is that even better?? Also, Jeanny is the only other woman outside of my girlfriend who is able to picture and laugh about my Gerbil jokes. hehe!! Viva La Gerbil!!

Connie (photo not available)

She is full of wit and charm and one can not help but be attracted to her personality. She is a loving mother and wife who also has more love inside her to help young adults whom she teaches.

Anne

I do know that I have known Anne the longest. She is one kick in the pants. We had some really good laughs together, and I look forward to even more in the future.

WingTip

This guy has class, he is a well rounded person, has a sense of humor that does not quit and to top it all off, has a talent with music. I also owe him for scanning in my pictures, and for the advice we have shared.

Pogo

I had only known Pogo for a short time when he came to the Gate. He passed away recently and in that short time, he taught me alot about myself and life. I will miss his humor, his outlook on life. If life is all about how many hearts one touches through it, then Pogo left this life a full human being. I will miss you my friend..
