Wait until the Konami logo has passed, and at the demo before the title screen appears, press and hold these buttons: L, R, and Up. Then press start. Keep holding these buttons when the title screen appears and press start again. Do this once more when the game start option is highlighted. Let go of all the buttons and play past the first level to see your credits increase.
To grab 50 lives, begin a new game as normal. When the "Where there's duck there's fire" screen appears, press Left, Left, Right, Right, Up, Down, Y, A, B, X. You should hear Daffy yell "Mother".

Here's some general playing tips.
With tyres on moving platforms, move to the left slightly then back. You will find that the tyre should have disappeared, so making it easier to get past enemies.
At the level where you ride the mine cart, jump down the first hole. If you do this well (you need to place your jump you will warp near the end of the level.
When in any stage that you have already completed, to exit it any time press start and select.
When on the Enguarde bonus level go directly up, left, right and down to get to secret rooms If the level you are starting has a structure that you enter from, such as an igloo or cave, jump on it five times to make the level harder.
After dying alone with Diddy, when Cranky plays his music, hit Down, Y, Down, Down, Y (DYDDY) to earn extra men.
Don't feel like going through the entire Stop 'n Go Station? Just exit left as soon as you enter the screen and you will warp yourself near the end of the level.

Here's how to get 50 lives. You must have no saved games before you begin. Start a new game and on the screen where you have the option of Single Player, Team or Contest, push down several times on the control pad. Keep pushing down after contest and music test appear, and cheat mode should appear. Now press start, select and then Y,A, Select, A, down, Left, A, Down. You should hear a monkey yelp to signify it worked.
Here's the codes for accessing the cheat mode. You will see the Shiny crew if it has worked. Press left and A, B, X, A, A, B, X, A. (Left and A or right and A means holding the direction pad and pushing the A button.)

Killer Instinct is one of the best beat em ups on the Super Nintendo. Here's how to play as Eyedol. First pick Cinder, then wait until the versus screen comes up. When the commentator says fight, hold right then press and release left button then right button, then X, then B, Y, then A. If you've done it right the game will say Eyedol and you'll be able to control him.

There is a way to get Zero's arm cannon before Sigma's stage. In the Flame Mammoth stage, part of the ceiling is made of blocks that X can break with his head, if he has the helmet upgrade. On the other side of these blocks is a small room with a capsule in which Dr. Light will give you the arm cannon.

X can learn the "Hadoken" fireball from Street Fighter 2! First, X must have every weapon, heart container, and energy tank in the game. In the Armoured Armadillo stage, there is a ledge high above the door to the boss's room on which lies
a power-up. X must jump from the mine-car to reach this ledge. Once he collects the power-up, he must exit the stage using the Escape feature in the weapons menu. Do this three times and the fourth time, there will be one of Dr. Light's capsules. In it, he is dresses as Ryu, and he will give you the Hadoken fireball. The controller motion for this is the same as in SF2 (D, DF, F, Y), but X can only perform it when at full energy, and the password will not save the fireball. The trick must be performed anew each time you quit the game.

Here's a cheat that allows you to play tag team. At the title screen with the large MK dragon logo, hold the Left and Right buttons and press start. The screen that appears will enable you to chose four fighters instead of one! During the fight, when one fighter runs out of energy, the next fighter will jump in to take his place, until all four fighters are defeated.
If you want to even up two player battles, you can ramdomly select your character. At the select character screen, hold up and press start.

Johnny Cage's bizarre "three heads fatality" can be achieved by pulling off the following moves: forward, forward, down, up, uppercut fatality, then immediately and simultaneously hold down: Low punch, high punch, block and down.
Immediately after doing a "spikes in the roof" fatality, hold DOWN on BOTH controllers to make your victim slide down the spikes and hit the floor.

One of the best touches to this nostalgic Megadrive and SNES game is the inclusion of the entire Atari 2600 game hidden in one of the levels.
At the start of the Lost City of Copan level, look up and to the right to see a ledge guarded by a scorpion. To get to it, go right and bounce on the tongues of the two wall statues then jump on the platforms to get up the ledge. Push up to go through.
Now go left and you'll find a web hidden behind the rock wall, which you should bounce on to get up to a hidden passage. Walk right until you fall into the vortex.
To get full power, press A then B, hold left and press right, then press A ,B, X in that order and hit select.

Here's how to get infinite lives, but you have to get to stage 4, level 1 first. Near the beginning of the level you'll find a cluster of green pipes. Kill the plants with your eggs then go to the first green pipe that produces purple critters. Eat them until you have your maximum amount of eggs, then eat a red Koopa shell and jump onto the second green pipe in the group. Cough the shell back up so that it bounces between the second and first pipes. Shoot one of your eggs into the air. The purple critters will begin pouring out the first pipe straight into the path of your shell and you'll be clocking up the lives.
To practice on the bonus levels, here's a quick and easy cheat. Go to the level select screen, and press X, X, Y, B, and A, while holding down select..
Young Merlin
Here's what to do once you've entered the Dwarven Realms. Walk to the left and pour a bottle of water into each basin. When each basin is full, the fire will go out. Walk past the dragon's head and push the pillars by walking into them so that you can walk to the right. If you make a mistake and trap yourself you can use the teleport key to reset the pillars.
Walk to the right where you see one pillar below a gate, Push that pillar to the right onto the button on the floor and it will disappear and open the gate. Walk all the way to the right and push each of the six pillars onto the six buttons, which opens another gate. Go down through the gate, to the right, then up, and pick up the green gem, which you can now take to the magical rainbow pool.
