The Unofficial Kevin Spacey Fan Page

Welcome to the Unofficial Kevin Spacey Fan Page.

Attention

I hate to do this, but I'm currently looking for someone who is interested in taking over this page. I recently moved, and no longer have continuous access to a computer or the internet. I believe Kevin Spacey is one of the most talented actors out there, and he definitely deserves a page. I cannot, in good conscience, let this one sit and rot, as it were. Or whatever. =-) So please, email me below if you are interested. Put something in the subject heading that will alert me to your letter. I'll send all the files to you. Hopefully the next person to run this will take much better care of it than I have. It's been fun. Until then, enjoy what I have.

This page was formerly run by Jenny Greenwood, but was recently put into my care. My name is Dixie Albertsen, and I'm big fan of Kevin Spacey's. I will do my best to make this one of the best fan pages on the web for him. Thanks for visiting. The page is almost entirely finished! My hard drive is still acting up, so the updates have been slow in coming. I also apologize for the lack of email responses. Rest assured everything will be back on track soon. I have tons of email to respond to, so if you have an urgent question, you may also want to post it in the Guestbook, where other fans may be able to help you out. Thanks for your understanding! Kevin Spacey was born Kevin Fowler on July 26, 1959 in South Orange, NJ and was raised in Southern California. He attended a middle school military school (until they kicked him out for unruly behavior) and then went on to Chatsworth High School where he got involved in the drama program. Kevin ended up co-validictorian (with Mare Winningham; they also starred in The Sound of Music that year). Kevin was accepted into the Julliard School drama program. Though he did not graduate, after his first two years, he left and joined the NY Shakespeare Festival until Papp fired him - to force him out into the 'real theatre world'. Later the same year Kevin was playing Liv Ullman's son in Ghosts on Broadway. In 1986, he was cast as Jamie, the eldest Tyrone son in Jonathan Miller's lauded production of A Long Day's Journey Into Night. Kevin also made his film debut that year with a small part in Heartburn and started to show up in episodic television. He periodically returns to the theatre (winning a Tony for Lost in Yonkers). There has been talk about his doing a new production of National Anthems, a play he has been trying to get into New York since 1988, when he did it at the Long Wharf Theatre. Of course, Kevin is a little busy these days.......
