Older Adults Services and Intervention System
Project OASIS

OASIS is a comprehensive program of social services for older frail adults. OASIS is sponsored by Catholic Charities of Los Angels serving Ventura and offers assistance to all older adults regardless of race, religion or income level. Services are extended to any mentally, physically, or medically disabled individuals, 60 years and older, needing or requesting assistance. OASIS targets the frail, low income and minority elderly. The goals are to help these individuals remain independent and avoid unnecessary premature institutionalization.

OASIS Provides the Following Services for Seniors:
  • Case Management
  • Client Monitoring
  • Brown Bag Program (Simi Valley Only)
  • Group and Individual Counseling (Santa Barbara Only)
  • Elder Identification Program
  • Birthday Program
  • In Home Program
  • BICS (Building Intergenerational Community Services
  • Outreach
  • AGE (Advocates Gifting the Elderly)

 A.G.E. - Advocates Gifting the Elderly

A.G.E. is a new group forming as OASIS celebrates 10 years of service to the poor, frail elderly of Ventura County. Donations will be used to fund services not provided by any other source.

Such as:
  • One time prescription fees
  • Transportation vouchers
  • Food
  • Ensure and other nutritional supplements
  • Adult diapers
  • Case management cost
  • Other individual needs
