In this section I will be focussing more on the character of Chandler than on Matthew, I will probably be putting quotes onto this page, so if anyone has a good one I`d love to have it.
.....to the untrained eye, Chandler Bing may seem like a normal everyday guy ...with absolutely no goals
"Thats not true!I wanted to wear my bathrobe and eat peanut clusters all day. I wanted to start drinking in the morning. Don`t say that I don`t have goals!"
He comes from a perfectly normal family...or does he?
"We just finished this magnificent Thanksgiving dinner. I have---and I remember this part vividly--a mouthful of pumpkin pie, and this is the moment my parents choose to tell me that theyre getting divorced."
"Y`know what I think it is? It`s the fishnet Stockings.Y`know? Whenever I see a girl in fishnet stockings, It reminds me of my father in fishnet stockings."
He`s always probing the mysteries of life.......
" You know whats weird. Donald Duck never wore pants. But whenever he`s getting out of the shower, he always puts a towel around his waist. I mean, what is that about."
Chandler tells us why we shouldn`t use a frying pan as a weapon
"Yes, hitting her with a frying pan`s a good idea. We might want to have a back up plan thoughJust incase she`s not a cartoon"
Maturity....is that in Chandler`s vocabulary
"....And then I just, you know, threw the bag of barley at her and ran out of the store."
He may be lonely.....
" I can`t remember the last time I got a girl to take care of my monkey"
But he`s not needy......?
"She ovibiously got my message. And is choosing not to call me. Now I`m needy and snubbed. God I miss just being needy.
Uh Chandler, exactly how old were you when you started smoking?
"Yeah,I`m tellin` ya something,that ah first smoke after nap time..."
Chandler is a great friend too.. "Well, Chandler will be there for you too. I mean, well, he might be a little late, but-but he`ll be there. And he`ll bring you some cold soda, if what you need him for is that your`e really hot."
