ALL STARS: How did you all hook up?
HOWIE: Three years ago AJ and me met in Orlando in a talent competition. We had a vocal coach who introduced us to one another. Then Nicky came along. We kept running into each other at auditions. Nick cam along and we just started harmonizing. Then we heard of a man named Lou Pearlman who was starting a label and was looking for talent so we went and auditioned for him. He suggested that we extend the group to five members. So we met Kevin through a friend of a friend and then he brought us Brian his cousin, and we've been together for about two and a half years.
ALL STARS: Are you enjoying preforming live and being on the road?
KEVIN: When you're singing on stage you can see peoples reaction and that is the greatest feeling. That's why we're here. That's a natural high. We just did a show out at the Roanoke Virginia Mall and we finally got to see people who knew about us and heard us on the radio. They were singing our songs. It makes you want to cry sometimes.
HOWIE: We just recently opened for Jamie Walters, Crystal Waters. We did a gig with Whitney Houston. We also did one with Andrew Keegan recently.
NICK: That was when we were in Roanoke and he made an appearance and we preformed after him.
ALL STARS: What about all the success has been the biggest surprise for you?
BRIAN: It's a lot of work.
NICK: The biggest surprise for me is walking into a store and seeing your single on a shelf next to all these artists.
KEVIN: The whole process of the recording industry and the radio stations and the record company work, as far as production in the studios, I was soaking it up like a sponge. It's been a great experience and we've learned much.
AJ: We're not really a club group but the way that we go on stage and do something like acapella that way we let the audience decide, okay these guys are legit, do we want to stay and listen to them? They usually accept us, which is really good. It feels really good.
ALL STARS: What do you like to do when you're not preforming?
AJ: I'm not really good at sports. I'm really good at pool. That's my thing. I like to draw, write poetry and listen to music.
NICK: I have a license and I like to scuba dive whenever I have time. I love to do whatever water activity I can.
HOWIE: I'm not really into sports, the only sport I do is racquet ball and I do a lot of water skiing. Mostly, now that I'm 21, I like to go out to the clubs and dance. Me and Kevin go out.
ALL STARS: Do you guys live near each other?
HOWIE: Me, Kevin and Brian live in an apartment together.
