"Down With Love" is definitely one of my top three favorite movies of all time. Is it because of the always (but especially in this movie) ultra-hot Ewan McGregor? Probably. But even without him this would have been a cute movie. I was a little skeptical about just how good the film would be because I am not a fan of Renee Zellweger. Once again she managed to get on my nerves in this movie, but it's probably just me. The catch phrase in the ads just about sums up the movie: "An old-fashioned romantic comedy...with a twist." I won't ruin it for you, but there certainly is a twist. The 1960's setting is very sweet and the jazzy soundtrack is an extra bonus. Just make sure you watch the entire movie so you can hear Ewan sing! On the Kaufmann Dwarf Scale of 1-7 dwarves, I give this movie 7 dwarves because it makes you happy!
