The Surinam Toad
General info:
The Surinam Toad lives in northern South America in ponds. These toads get 7-9 inches when full grown. Never take your toad out of the water because that stresses him out lots.
Habitat:
These toads need a 20-40 gallon tank that's wide not tall when full grown. The water should be 4-6 inches deep. Also there should be tons of floor space. The temperature of the water should be from 79-82 degrees Fahrenheit. Do not house any other frogs with this guy because they have big appetites and will devour any aquatic frogs or fish.
Food:
These guys eat a variety of fish including goldfish and guppies. Also they eat beef heart and blood worms. Don't just feed your frogs goldfish feed him a variety of things.
