What is
instructional strategy?
Information that is collected during the analysis phase is
used to help design the instructional strategy. The instructional strategy is the approach
taken to facilitate learning. The strategy
can be either more supplantive (meaning
is supplied by the instructor) or
more generative (meaning is generated by the learner’s
interpretation). Each of these
approaches will affect how the lesson is organized and delivered. The expanded instructional events (below) can
be used as the framework of the lesson and can be adapted for either
strategy.
