Who maintains AV?
The Anime Votes Staff consists of two people. They are Myami (myami_angel and Vina (banana_cute).
Why Anime Votes?
When Vina made AV, she just wanted people to vote for who they think fairs the most on some anime categories that she came up with. Then I (Myami) suggested that we should make it a "club" as well.
Who does what?
I (Myami) do the graphics, the layout and crap like that while Vina decides what to put in (cause she's the founder).
What are AV's objectives?
1) Unite the people who love anime here in CP. 2) Raise awareness about Anime, and have people interact and compete for it. 3) Lessen the boredom.
How can I be a member?
Check the requirements section, where all related questions will be answered.
Why should I be a member?
If you love anime/manga and want to expand your knowledge about them, then we can help you. Anime Votes is also a good way to interact with fellow anime fans, and compete for fantabulous prizes!
What's an ID?
The second next best thing about AV is that your graphic designer (me) loves to give out stuff once in a while. An ID or an Identification Card is just one of them! You can win one from the contests and use it as a link back to us. If I feel that you totally deserve it, you can even choose the anime character that you want to show on your ID!
What's an AV Badge?
Now this is Très COOL! Only specially hailed Anime members will get a chance to claim them. MOTM's and FAF's are the only ones who'll get them in fact. They represent your loyalty and importance to the club.
Can you PLEASE make me a layout
We' don't do layout service anymore, but we're extremely flattered that you asked. So, the answer is NO. The only nice thing we can do to you is give you sources of nifty anime images. Check out the Anime Link of the Month section and see.
Can the MOTM win consecutively (like twice in a row)?
No, unfortunately he/she can't. He/she can win more than once though, just as long as it's not in a row. Sorry.
You guys look like you have plenty of time in your hands. How do you do it?
We are all bored =) But now that classes have started, I am not so sure anymore.
How can I make people to vote for me?
Be creative, but don't spam! Maybe custom cows, but I think that still counts as spamming.
I really want to help and be part of the staff! Is that possible?
YES! ABSOLUTELY! That'd be awesome! Just note us, and we will consider your request/application. It would be nice if you have experience on graphic/web designing though. Good luck if you do apply!
I don't like anime! I think all of the characters look like girls! Can I still join? Maybe... We do welcome newbies, or even converts, so we'll see.
