The best news!!! My mom finally gave in, and I get my own domain name! So...in about a week or two, angelicdisaster.net will be up! *yays* Until then...I'm mostly going to be working on the tCoS, OotF, and Te sites....so no more updates for a while.

However...some other cool news...some of my graphics are going to Art Districts Friday. ^.^

Green Eyes and Light

On the silent battlefield of the mind

Two silent combatants stood

Both of their goals was to fight for the soul

Of the beautiful creature of light.

Each man brandished a weapon

As a powerful force filled them both

Ice blue eyes locked with ones of bright green

Then a defensive stance each man assumed

Still silent the two men battled

Their weapons clanging and stinging

Yet none could get the upper hand

Until blue eyes stumbled and fell

With a mighty roar the green-eyed one descended

His weapon quickly piercing the others heart

A gasp fell from the dying mans lips

And with a tear in his eye, he breathed out his last

The victor remained silent, shock clear on his face

With a hand now limp, his weapon he dropped

A slow creeping smile spread over his face

With eyes as bright as the moon, winners stance he assumed

The ever-growing grin kept building

As the victors heart swelled with pride

With a haughty look he grabbed his dropped weapon

Tossed back his long hair, and moved to the left

Before the victor could get very far

The spirit of the fallen arose

His ghostly appearance was battered and torn

But his eyes still blazed with eternal flame

The green eyed mans smiled fade

His mouth opened wide in shock

Knuckles turned white as weapon was gripped tighter

And he blinked, unable to do much more

Weapon of the fallen man then floated up

And he gripped the blade with specter hands

And at the stunned victor, smile on his face

The phantom man ran

Green eyes blinked again

And once more locked with blue

Both men gripped weapon again

And fighting stances once more assumed

So they battled for weeks on end

Each one dying and rising again

Giving no thought to their own precious needs

Only thought of the creature in dreams

And finally a new figure entered the scene

The creature of light herself

Long dark hair cascaded down her back

Her eyes, emerald green, sad, yet full of pride

Both men stopped in their tracks

Weapons dropped to the floor

Green eyes and blue eyes stared unabashed

At the beauty beheld in their gaze

Suddenly a true voice rang out

The first heard in the land

The woman, the creature of light softly spoke

“I am not a prize to be won, your fighting desist”

Green eyes blinked again, suddenly ashamed

But blue eyes merely stared

Creature of light shook her head

And fell to her knees in silent prayer

Blue eyes growled under his breath

His mind could not comprehend

That all creature of light wanted

Was for peace to flow in all souls

Green eyes knew and understood this

And a lonely tear fell down his face

The only reason he was fighting and dying

Was to gain light’s affection and love

Creature of light remained on her knees

Lips moving in silent prayer

Her eyes suddenly opened wide

As blue’s weapon was thrust in her side

“If I can’t have her no one can”

he growled, his blue eyes full of hate

With an uncaring grin he pulled his weapon out

Turned on his heals, and from the battlefield left

Green eyes blinked once more

His face clothed in chick

An anguished cry fell from his lips

As he lifted light into his arms

Creature of light’s eyes closed again

As blood rushed from her side

Her very essence was leaking from her

As the blade pierced her very soul

Green eyes howled again

As he held her close as he so longed to do

He ran his fingers through her hair

As tears ran down both their faces

The angished soul of green eyes bled

As he felt his love slip away

Light also felt her essence fade

But she couldn’t die, not now, in pain

As the love of green eyes found its way to her soul

Light opened her luminous eyes

She had not know, but she had been searching

For love, same as the sparring men

As he felt her life somehow re-grow

Green eyes tears became as gold

The love he had so often longed for

Was alive, and held in his arms

Each splash of the golden tears

Revived light’s soul some more

And as Green eyes tears finally stopped

Light’s life was as though it was new

Abruptly Light’s heart skipped a beat

As she felt Green eyes so very close

Then her emerald eyes met with his

And with extreme tenderness, their lips locked in a kiss

For what seemed forever they sat there

Entwined in each others arms

The only thing they needed was each other

As love poured through their souls

From the next realm over, of hatred, not of love

Blue eyes watched, his soul broken in two

His heart was still so full of hate

Not understanding that he could be with them, above

Now together forever, Green eyes and Light

Stayed in their embrace

Neither wanted to leave each other

All they wanted was to be together, forever, for all time.
