Military Machines – Air, Land and Sea

     Detailed models of army vehicles, planes and ships from Mr. Brownlow’s collection of World War II memorabilia have been given to the 4th grade to study. Each student will be assigned a model to study. Students may use the research links below to collect more information about their model:

World War II Models

 

M4 Sherman Tank

 

More than 50,000 Sherman tanks were used by British, French, Russian, and American troops. The tank had a 75mm main gun and weighed almost 30 tons! The tank had a top speed of 21 mph.
