Water Requirements:

Medicinal: Antispasmodic, aperient, cholagogue, diaphoretic, vulnerary; Infusion of flowers aids gastrointestinal problems. Prevents vomiting, reduces fever, boild, abcesses. Salve aids wounds in healing, reduces bruises, pulled muscles, boils, sores, sprains. Fresh juice is supposed to reduce warts.; Preparation: Soak flowers in 1/2 quart of rectified alcohol or whisky for 5-6 weeks. Dosage is 5 to 20 drops., , Salve: boil 1 ounce of dried leaves or flowers or 1 teaspoon fresh juice with 1 ounce of lard.
