Since i only bought my camcorder about 5 months before leaving States, I can't capture the photos of all the friends. But, these are the ones that I have:

Remark: A very hard worker and good Muslim. As of 2003, he is working in Kismet Café down at 24th Street. He just got a little baby sometime in 2003. He sells some of the good quality clothes that I love to buy. Good business man as well.

Asyraf

Remark: Has been workin’ in Kismet Café ever since I met him. Tough, but very polite and nice brother. Got the most firm handshake among the gangs. Always wrestle with Zatari. Maybe that’s what Lebanese always do when they meet each other. Heheh.

A'ziz

Remark: One of the soccer regulars. Although he has no ability to run anymore, he has the skill to hold on to the ball for a long time. Always was my regular nemesis on the field. Very funny dude too.

Fuad

Remark: I always remember him as the toughest soccer player in the field. With muscular body, it’s very hard to steal the ball from him. Not even Riadh’s special move can take his ball easily. As of 2003, live in the same dormitory with Iftekhar. He is Pakistani lived in Kenya.

Remark: Good soccer player. The official sponsor of any event that requires donut, since he was working in one of the famous donut store in Austin (I forgot the name though, something like Crispy Donut). Used to live in Germany before Austin, thus he speaks German fluently. Moved out from Austin before I left to some northern state. I forgot which one. Very kind-hearted human being.

Remark: Moved out from Austin to other city (I think it’s Chicago) before I left. Heard him got married overthere. A convert to Islam, he was one of ISNA speaker in one of its convention representing Latino Muslim. Soft-spoken and humble brother.

Remark: One of the most helpful human being still exists in our planet. He graduated about a semester earlier than me in Petroleum Engineering. Currently working in the tallest building (KLCC) in the world with Petronas. Very motivated and enthusiastic businessman among us.

Remark: One of my housemate. Very smart, skinny brother. And a hard worker as well. Used to study in California, but now doing PHD in UT. Soon I’m gonna have to call him Dr Muhammad! Has an older brother, Syibli here in Austin, who has totally different personality than Muhammad.

Remark: Was a student in a class in which Larbi was a teaching assistant. Very fond of Takraw and volleyball. A Taekwando expert. Always there whenever there was an exciting event, and always the main player for such events. Very exciting dude.

Sheikh Muhammad

Remark: My beloved teacher, friend and big brother. He is always patient, cool, composed and tolerant towards all of us, although we deserved some kicks in the butts sometimes. He is the imam of downtown Masjid. He was an Azhar graduate. He left his family to make dakwah there in Austin. I learned a great deal from him, especially about Islam. He is an expert in making and decorating vase. I miss him a great deal.

Remark: He is the most workaholic man I have ever known. Currently working in Kerteh, Malaysia with Petronas, he was with me since high school up to Austin! And he was my housemate for almost three years in Austin. Very helpful fellow, and very intelligent and hard worker as well. I remember one time he joined us for soccer. He got roughed up and got a big scratch on his leg. He never played soccer with us anymore ever since.
