Being Coward, Passive and Pathetic in the Bible:
The New Testament orders you to follow the laws of dictators and murderers such as Hitler and not follow the laws of God. Let us examine this verse from the New Testament: "Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. Consequently, he who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves. For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and he will commend you. For he is God's servant to do you good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword for nothing. He is God's servant, an agent of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer. Therefore, it is necessary to submit to the authorities, not only because of possible punishment but also because of conscience. (Romans 13:1-5)"
I think this verse from the New Testament is pretty much self explanatory. Its prophecies are all false, and its laws are totally irrational !! Imagine yourself living in California, which is a state in the U.S. In California, males can marry males and females can marry females.
Now, according to the verse above, can you as a Christian marry a male if you are a male? Or marry a female if you are a female? "Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. (Romans 13:1)" I think this verse clearly says yes you can do that. And "he who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted (Romans 13:2)", which clearly means that if you object to that law, then you would be disobeying God. Keep in mind that the Old Testament teaches us that God had damned nations before and drowned them for committing sins. This sounds like a contradiction to me.
"For rulers hold no terror for those who do right (Romans 13:3)" I would like you to give this verse to a Jew who lost relatives in the Holocaust, or a Muslim Bosnian or Kosovar who lost a relative or had his sister or mother raped by Serb soldiers, or a Kurdish who lost his family from the Poison Gas in northern Iraq. I would like you to see their reaction.
I also would like you to ask yourself: Did Americans do wrong when they fought the British and kicked them out of the U.S.? According to (Romans 13:1-5) the Americans did a terrible sin, which does not make any sense what so ever !! If a slave wants to be free, and he and his people have to fight the current ruling government to gain their freedom. Would they be committing a sin if they do that? Unfortunately, according to the Bible, yes they would be.
"but for those who do wrong. (Romans 13:3)" History tells us that there are many more people who died because they did the right thing by either rising against their corrupted governments, or fighting for their freedom, than actually those who accepted wrong and lived with it. (Romans 13:3) teaches us that if you do the right thing then the ruling government would not try to hurt you. History proves that this is absolutely wrong. History proves that it is totally the other way around.
My friend, I would like to ask you to examine and question everything that you believe in. Not everything that you learned is necessarily right. The Bible has things that seem to be quite irrational. I highly doubt that the above verse was inspired by God. The New Testament was not even taught by Jesus himself. It was taught by other people. It is quite possible that these people who came after Jesus had corrupted the Bible with their own opinions and thoughts.
The Bible is supposed to be the word of God for all times and all places. (Romans 13:1-5) sounds like a compromising verse. God does not have to obey man's laws. We must obey God's laws. If following a corrupted government is wrong (which it is) then we must fight it. Doing right is never wrong. Being a hypocrite and a passive person is wrong by itself.
At least, this is what Islam teaches. There is no room for being passive in Islam. Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him said:
Narrated 'Abdullah: "The Prophet said, 'A Muslim has to listen to and obey (the order of his ruler) whether he likes it or not, as long as his orders involve not one in disobedience (to Allah), but if an act of disobedience (to Allah) is imposed one should not listen to it or obey it. (Translation of Sahih Bukhari, Judgments (Ahkaam), Volume 9, Book 89, Number 258)"
Islam, however, doesn't ask you to badly harm yourself either! You disobey the bad authority within your own limits. Allah Almighty Said:
"On no soul doth God Place a burden greater than it can bear.
(The Noble Quran, 2:286)"
The point is:
The point is that Christianity teaches you to be coward, passive and pathetic! Islam on the other hand teaches you to be faithful and straight, and to say NO to the wrong and to fight it within your means. How else would we be able to remove the bad such as Hitler and the Nazis?
I guess the Christians world wide committed an awful sin against GOD when they fought the Nazis!
