The Lord Demous born of nobility that had served the Lady Aurora Shadowsoul and her family for generations.  Demous took his fathers place after his father was killed in battle.  He took his father's place as Guardian to the Shadowsoul lands.  Though for the longest time he didn't know that his mother was Ashira Shadowsoul daughter to Aurora Shadowsoul.. But not know to many is the fact that Demous' grandfather was the Arch Devil Asmodaeus.  Demous served Aurora faithfully for many years even when she would take leave to travel.  In time the one he though was his mother passed on into the next life.   He still served the Shadowsoul family, then he met Ashira and found out she was his mother, she finished teaching Demous how to be a Dragon Rider. He learned well and became a very proficient rider.  In time Ashira introduced him to Black Wing the black dragon, the two would fight to start till he would finally come out the victor of the fights, but their fights were more play than anything else.  The two fell in love with each other.  Now the two are inseparable. He lover her with all his heart and soul.  They have the riders bond with each other.  Should Demous die then so shall Black Wing.  In recant years the two did have children that are at the Isle of Darkness where they both now serve as Ambassadors.
