“Ok, so far the score is tied and it is Sweet Harmony’s turn. A bit ironic, but the number two video happens to be NSYNC”s Bye Bye Bye.” Carson said as the floating tv’s played the video. Kim took the mic and began to sing JC’s solo while Lee and Dana were pretending to run away from Amanda. (the “bond” girl in the video.) When it came to the chorus, the choreography was exact. Then Justin’s solo came up. Heather pretended to fall look up and did a little “ha ha ha” as to mock out Justin in the video. By the end of the performance, everybody was laughing, even NSYNC.
“Ha haha.. Ok next up, NSYNC singing Sweet Harmony’s “There is One.” Carson said catching his breath from laughing. NSYNC began singing or attemping to sing high pitched vocals to the song. With humor, they succeeded lovely.
“Ok, with the auidence votes, the winner is....”
“Carson, hold up a minute.. I just wanna say that whoever wins, no hard feelings.” JC said as he looked at Heather.
“Sounds good.” Dana said.
“ok, no hard feelings. And the winner is.... It’s a tie! I guess the audience couldn’t choose. And who really could? I mean we have two kick ass groups here. Well, that’s all the time we have here today on TRL. So tune in next time.... Bye bye bye.” Carson said singing the “bye bye bye.”
As NSYNC and Sweet Harmony went to sign autographs, Carson pulled Heather to the side,
“Hey, Heather, are you busy tonight?”
“Uh, no why?” Heather asked.
“Well, I was wondering if platonically (Amanda, lol!) have a drink down at this club.”
“Carson, I’d love to, but I should really get some sleep tonight, I mean, we’re shooting our new video tomorrow. I”m sorry.” Heather said.
“Ok, I understand, could I call you sometime?” Carson asked hinting something else.
“Carson, I thought this was a “platonic” relationship?” Heather asked smiling.
“Right, never mind...” Carson said with a minor frown. By this time, fans were exiting the studio. They were pretty much gone.
“Heather, we’re pretty much ready to go.” Amanda said tapping Heather on the shoulder. Justin was close behind her.
“Carson, it’s not that I’m not interested, I mean, if I wasn’t going out with anyone, I’d say yes, but I’m with someone. Please don’t be upset."
“Who?” Carson asked.
“Hey, sweetie, ready to go?” JC asked as he took Heather’s hand.
“Crunkage.” Justin said under his breath.
“No kid-ding.” Amanda said in reply to Justin’s “crunkage.”
“What”s crunkage?” Dana asked.
“I’ll tell you later.” Amanda said.
“Oh, I see. Well, I have to go. Heather, see you on the flipside.” Carson said turning red as he went off to talk to the camera man.
“What was that all about?” JC asked confuzzled.
“Carson invited out “platonically. It ended up as me telling him I was going out with you.” Heather explained.
