Sweet Harmony and parents’ are with Lance to get signed to FreeLance.
“...So all you have to do is sign this dotted line.” Lance said as he handed the pen to Heather.
“Ok.” Heather smiled. She took the pen and signed her name on the contract.
Three months later.....
“Sweet Harmony is opening for NSYNC on their summer tour. Sweet Harmony’s single ‘There is One” is a smash hit all over the U.S.A. and Europe. The girls have been busy, busy, busy and today they have taken time out of their schedule to spend time with you guys and me Carson Daly here on TRL.” Carson said. Heather looked a little green.
“Hi” Dana said smiling and waving to all the fans outside in times square.
“So, who is the leader of Sweet Harmony?” Carson asked.
“Well, there is no leader.” Amanda said setting it straight.
“Heather started the band with her sister Kim.” Lee said.
“Then they added Lee and I and Amanda was added through Lee. We’re all really good friends. We’re like family.” Dana smiled as she put her arm around Heather’s shoulder.
“Now you guys have extremly incredible dance moves as well as kick ass voices. Who trains you?”
“Well Carson, vocally we train together. We all pretty much have natural talent. Syd, Heather’s friend is our choreographer.” Amanda said.
“Darryl Henson? What about him? He’s known for working with all the popbands.”
“Carson, we’re a girlband, not a popband. A lot of the stuff we sing is really more of r&b. Not pop.” Lee said.
“R&B with a twist of pop.” Heather said faintly.
“Heather, are you ok?” Carson asked.
“Yea, just a little tired. You konw touring can be really tough.” Heather let out a faint smile. Carson smiled along with her.
“Well, we’re going to go to a commercial break and the Sweet Harmony will preform their number one hit There is One. Here on TRL.”
“And cut!” the camera man shouted as Carson took an earpeace out of his ear.
“It is really a pleasure to meet you Carson.” Dana said as the two shook hands.
“Thank you. You too. All of you. I think you are really talented.” Carson said as he shook all of their hands.
“I’m a little thirsty, is there somewhere I can get a drink before we go on?” Heather asked.
“Sure, follow me...” Carson said as he led her down the hall to a water fountain.
“Here you go.” Carson said as he took one of the dixie cups and filled it with water.
“Thank you.” Heather said.
“Carson, you got two minutes.” a stage man said pointing to his watch. Carson nodded.
“Ready?” Carson asked. Heather and him went back into the studio.
“In five, four, three, two, one.” the camera man said.
“Hi and welcome back to TRL, I”m your host Carson Daly and number one on today’s Trl for the fifth day in a row, Sweet Harmony with “there is one.”
The five sang and finished up the show, IT wasn’t until later when Heather reveled the truth.
