Jamie knew she had an hour before her first day of being a singer so she had to get ready fast. Jamie had called her bud Renee there night before to tell her the news and that she couldn't go to mall with everyone. Jamie was not five minutes away from her home when Marty her ex Beau called, "Hey Babe what's up" " What's up? "Well let me think...Oh yea it's been a month since you and I broke up and 3 months since you started going with that Dog and I 'm really not in the mood for this so bye Martin Andrew Johnson, oh yea I most of forgot you lied to me I finally made it I'm a singer and I-" Jamie was interrupted "Baby but-" "But Baby nothing you know what u did and don't call me Babe." at that she hung up.
At the studio
Johnny was the first to greet Jamie. He told her he wanted her to meet a few people before recording. "Ms. Stevens this is going your next victim Jamie Richards she needs work although she's got it." Erica Stevens is my voice teacher" Well, Ms. Richards I look forward working with you," she noted. No, that Miss Richards stuff got to me I told her to call me Jamie. There were a lot of people there I was a little scared but I got it through that it was first day.
At Nick and Brian's Apartment
" Yo Aj did you here about the chick that joined our label?'" Howie asked AJ excitedly " No I didn't. Is she fine?" "Don't know man." Howie responded with a frown, "I have seen pics!" Brian said, " I thought she was. Of course you may not." "Do you have it?" all the guys asked, wishing that he did "No. Sorry but…" Brian thought before finishing "we're supposed to watch a recording session!" The rest of them weren't as thrilled as Brian was but, hey, they anxious to see her.
An hour later
"Ok" Johnny had congratulated Jamie "alright on last song and we'll be finished ok?" she agreed I started singing. " Sometimes I wake up in the middle to realize your not there I asked myself why did it have to end when will I see you again..." Everyone was so thrilled especially Brian whom thought to himself "Wow she's even hotter in person. What a voice." Johnny interrupted his thoughts by telling them it was time to go. Brian had longed for things that he never wanted before and he wondered if she felt the same way. After it was all over for the day, he told Jamie he'd see her tomorrow. " Jamie I'm looking forward to the tour and the future your gonna be one Shining star. See ya!"
