I would recomend buying a slightly used JC (as long as the using was done by NSYNC), it does not depreciate value as many people would lead you to believe,on the contrary he only gets better with age!
A JC is very durable and probably will never break but may need occasional minor repairs,especially with all that dancing and a severe lack of naps. The JC fad is not likely to fade out anytime soon, so when you go to purchase one I suggest you do it as soon as possible due to lack of supplies (namely, there's only one!).
Many will try to con you into buying an Affleck, when you go try to purchase a JC, not that an Affleck is not as valuable as a JC,mind you, but the similarities are uncanny and many have been fooled by the likeness.
Remember when going out to buy a JC,you must be prepared, you must know all you can about your purchase, like any smart consumer. May I suggest reading up all you can about your purchase, watching video footage to get to know his movements, and quirks, and be prepared for physical activity, like singing, dancing, running, jumping, and perhaps even screaming. You are not the only one out there to purchase a JC many will try to make you stray from your path,DO NOT BE LED ASTRAY!!!Stay focussed and keep your goal in sight! This is crucial for the purchase of a JC.
