At about a quarter after seven that night the group gathered one last time for the next three weeks because after the concert, both the guys and the girls were leaving. JC pulled Brandi aside. "I need to tell you something. I know this will seem really mushy and I know I've only known you a day, I normally don’t do this. I usually tell myself 'I've lived 23 years without this person, what's another three weeks but I don’t know, I feel really strongly for you and I truly an going to miss you whether I met you yesterday or not." He explained earnestly.
Brandi gave JC a quick kiss then a hug and with a little smile but sincere green eyes she said, "Well JC, I'll miss you too." And then he gave her a great big hug and they joined the rest of the group, or they thought they were going to but while they had been talking, the rest of the people split off into pair or groups themselves; Justin and Allison, Chris and Susan, and Joey, Lance and Grace. (Well, actually, that’s how it started but after a few minutes Lance left Joey and Grace for Chris and Susan)
Joey took Grace's hands in his, "I can't even believe this is happening and now we have to leave after what, a whopping four hours? But you see, I will call you, I'll tattoo it on my forehead backwards so that every time I look in the mirror I'll call you." He joked with a little laugh.
Grace cringed at the mere thought. " You'd better not, you might get in trouble with a few people, four in particular." She winked "Well, you can call me, just no tattoos on your head okay?"
Joey nodded "Yeah, well, I think we'd better go back to join up with the rest of the group huh?" His new girlfriend nodded and they went to join 'the group' AKA Brandi and JC.
"So, you fine young gentlemen are going to teach me to surf and jet-ski when you all get back to Orlando right? I mean, unless you want me to go out and break my neck my first time." Susan asked Chris and Lance with a laugh, they laughed and shrugged.
"Sure" Chris said "I would love to teach you to surf but jet-skiing? All him." He said pointing at Lance.
"I sure will, it'll be fun, but there's not a lot to learn with jet-skiing, only falling right and not turning too fast, you know, but you'll have your hands full when Chris tries to teach you to surf so it'll even out a little." Lance smiled at his very new, well, acquaintance.
"Great! Thanks a bunch, both of you! That'll be very cool and it's very nice of both of you. You're awesome!" Susan exclaimed very excited that they'd said yes.
"Sure, it'll be cool" Chris shrugged and Lance nodded. Then Chris looked over, "Uh oh, looks like they're regrouping, we should go over and join them." He grinned and they also joined. The group now contained everyone except Justin and Allison who joined them all about thirty seconds later.
Grace spoke first " You know I'm going to miss all y'all…well all except three…you know who you are, anyway, I thought I'd tell you that because if I know Joey he a) wont call and b) wont let me talk to the rest of you if he does."
Chris was the next, " You know, I think that we all just need one big group hug alright?" So they all got a little closer in a big group hug and just stayed talking like that for a second until the guys were told they had to go on stage in a minute and that the girls had to go to their seats. All five men and four women reluctantly broke their circle and sadly said goodbye and walked in their opposite directions to not see each other for another three weeks after this show.
