"Wow, JC, don't you look spiffy! Where are you off to?" Joey asked, dropping onto the couch next to his friend.

"Goin' out." JC replied, smiling mischieviously.

"Out?" Joey repeated, "Oohhh, I see. Where are ya goin?"

"To dinner." JC replied, looking up to see Brandi step out of her room.

After spending all day wandering around town window shopping, they were more than ready for dinner.

Now, as she walked out in a dark blue, strappy dress with a baby blue button-up sweater over it, Brandi took in JC. He was wearing khakis and a tight black sweater. She had to keep herself from staring or letting her jaw drop at the sight of him standing there, looking back at her.

He walked over and wrapped his arms around her waist.

"Wow, you look great." he said softly, holding her at arms length.

Brandi smiled, "Thanks. So do you."

"Hey, where are ya'll off to?" Justin asked, killing their moment as he walked into the room.

A look of slight annoyance crossed JC's handsome face as they stepped back and turned to look at him. Brandi put her hand on JC's arm. He looked at her and she gave him a small smile and slight shake of her head.

Turning back to Justin, she said, "We're goin' out to dinner. Tell everyone we siad bye. Probably won't be back 'till late, so I dunno if ya'll will still be awake. Bye Justin, thanks."

With that, she grabbed JC's hand and pulled him all the way out to her Jeep, leaving poor Justin standing there as he tried to figure out what just happened.

"This is a wicked phat ride, yo." JC said as he turned onto the main road.

"You should feel special. I think you're the only other person I've let drive my Jeep." Brandi replied, sliding her hand into his free one.

"Well, I do feel special, but for other reasons too." he said, smiling as he squeezed her hand gently.

"Oh really? And why's that?"

"She's sitting next to me." he answered, stopping at a red light.

He looked at her and saw a small smile on her face. He smiled back, and gave her a quick wink before glancing at the light. It turned green, and he stepped on the accelerator.
