Nick and Whitney walked hand and hand down the sidewalk in front of the hotel.
"God, I hope they work this out. She has to get over Brett, Brian is so much different."
"What exactly happened with this Brett person?" Nick asked.
"They dated, he told her he loved her, he cheated on her, she broke up with him, he pursuaded her to come back, she did, he cheated again....finally she came to her senses and broke up with him for good." Whitney explained.
"Oh poor Jess. Well Brian is nothing like that. He would never do that to someone no matter what." Nick said looking at Whitney.
Whitney smiled as she looked at Nick, "What?" he asked grinning.
"You look so cute when your talking serious," she said giggling.
Nick just smiled and began to kiss Whitney. Just when the kiss began to get good, they heard a cough. They turned to see Brian and Jess holding hands and smiling at the two.
"What are you guys doin" Whitney said.
"What?" Brian asked," Can't I hold my girlfriend's hand?"
"Girlfriend?" Nick asked surprised.
"Yes, girlfriend." Jess smiled.
"Ahh!" Whitney yelled and ran over to give Jess a hug.
"Well I'm hungry lets go and get some food" Nick said rubbing his stomach.
"Frack, you're always hungry." Brian said.
"No I'm not. So just shut up" Nick said getting a little ticked.
"A little snappy, aren't we Nick?" Jess asked as the four began walking to the car.
"No" He snapped back at her.
"Alright just leave my Nicky alone" Whitney said putting her arm around him.
"Aw, Nicky getting protected by a girl."
"Shut up Jess. So whos driving" Whitney said once they got to the car.
"I say Brian. So we can get the backseat" Nick said raising his eyebrows up and down.
"Ok, I for one do not want to have you two making out in the backseat the whole way there. Maybe we should split you two up." Brian said.
"No" Whitney and Nick yelled at the same time"
"God, maybe they are perfect for each other...." Jess mumbled out of earshot of Nick and Whit.
"I have to agree with that" Brian said smiling and getting in the drivers seat.
Whitney and Nick climbed in to the back while Jess took shotgun. "Where to" Brian asked.
"Ummm I don't care. Whatever you guys want is fine with me" Whitney said scooting over closer to Nick.
"No Whitney get back on that side of the car" Brian said laughing.
"I opt that Bri and I get the backseat on the way back!" Jess yelled.
"Fine but im not staying over here" Whitney replied moving back over with Nick.
"Alright fine. Wow its already 2:30 in the morning. The only place I know thats open is Dennys" Brian asked starting the car.
"I dont care, just somewhere, I need food!" Nick whined.
"Shut up Nick, you will get your freaking food." Brian said.
"If you are lucky, you can have my fries Nick," Jess paused,"But you arent that lucky!" She stuck her tongue out at him.
"Well i'll just steal them when you go to the bathroom then" Nick replied and stuck his tongue out at Jess.
"Then I just won't go to the bathroom!" she shot back.
"Alright i'll just take them when your making kissy faces with Brian then" He said laughing.
"When will you have time? You will be doing the same thing.........making kissy faces at Brian!"
"Um no wrong person Jess"
"Oh, well I just always thought Nicky was that way....."
"No im not gay" Nick yelled and kicked the back of Jess' seat.
"Ahh......hey!" Jess said getting mad now.
"Alright quit acting like your 3. We are here anyways" Brian said pulling into a open parking spot.
"I'll get you back...."Jess mumbled and crossed her arms.
"Table for four? Smoking or non-smoking" the waitress asked.
"Non," Brian replied.
"Ok follow me please"
Nick and Whitney went ahead while Jess and Brian followed. Jess took this oppurtunity to step on the back of Nick's foot.
"God damnit Jess. Stop it" Nick said trying to put his shoe back on.
"Make me, Blondie." She said.
"Alright thats enough" Brian said sitting down.
"Um what can I get you guys to drink" the waitress asked hesitantly.
"I'll have--"Nick and Jess started at the same time.
"Yeah I--" they said again.
"Stop it!" the both yelled.
"Well i'll take a Coke please" Whitney said.
"I'll have a Sprite," Brian said,"Jess what do you want?" he said helping her beat out Nick.
"I'll have a Dr Pepper thank you," she said.
"And for you sir" the waitress asked looking at Nick.
"Um a Mountain Dew" he said glaring at Jess and Brian.
"Alright i'll have those out in a second"
Whitney patted Nicks leg telling him to settle down his temper before things got out of hand.
"Hmm what should I get" Nick said opening his menu.
"....some help....." Jess said quietly. Thankfully no one heard. She didn't know why but she just had this hate toward Nick and it was getting stronger by the minute. How she would stand to be on tour with him for that long, she didn't know.
The four ordered their food and sat quietly waiting for it. Just then, Jess looked up and saw a girl that looked familiar. She did a double take and knew she was right.
"Oh my God! Ally!" she said jumping up and running over to the girl.
"Jess" Ally said excitedly hugging her.
"Ally!" Whitney yelled jumping over Nick and running to the other two girls. The three hugged and jumped up and down while Nick and Brian sat looking confused.
"What are you doing here?" Jess asked Ally.
"Yeah, you are supposed to be in New York!" Whitney said.
"Well, I was driving back here to visit you guys! And I got hungry and Dennys is the only place open, so here I am!" Ally explaind.
"You just drove from New York to here" Jess said surprised.
"Well yeah, I got some time off and you know how I'm not very fond of planes, so...."
"Who cares how she got here, she's here!" Whitney said and the three started jumping up and down again. "Oh my gosh, the guys!" Whitney said remembering their boyfriends were still sitting at the table.
"What guys" Ally asked.
Jess and Whitney looked at each other, then grabbed Ally and drug her to the table where Nick and Brian sat confused as ever.
"Oh my God" Ally said when she saw who they were.
"Um, Ally this is Nick and Brian. Guys, meet our best friend Ally." Whitney explained.
"Hi Ally" Nick and Brian said in unison.
"Uh um..err Hi!!" she said stumbling over her words. Ally grabbed Whitney and Jess' hands and walked away from the table. "How did you guys do that"
"Do what" Whitney asked smiling.
"How the hell did you get Brian Littrell and Nick Carter to come to Dennys with you?"
"Oh that" Whitney giggled. "Its a long story we'll tell you later. But we kinda need to get back to them"
"Yeah, can't keep those boyfriends waiting," Jess said as she and Whitney walked back to the table with a shocked Ally right behind them.
"Do you guys mind if Ally sits with us" Whitney said smiling.
"No,not at all." Brian said.
"Don't sit next to blondie, he's a jerk!" Jess whispered to Ally.
"Um ok" Ally said sitting down next to Jess.
After they all finished eating, the 5 walked outside.
"It's really late, you girls should just stay at the hotel tonight. You too Ally." Brian said.
"Yeah im really tired. This has been a very exciting day" Whitney said yawning.
"As long as I am as far away from Blondie over there as possible, its fine with me!" Jess said.
"Come on be nice Jess" Whitney said giving her a pleading look.
"I will try, but I can't promise you anything." Jess replied leaning her head on Brian's shoulder and yawning.
"Lets just go before I fall asleep" Nick said putting his arm around Whitney.
"You best not fall asleep Blondie, you're driving remember?" Jess said.
"There is no way I am driving unless you want us to get into a crash."
"Oh fine, I'll drive." Brian said.
"Thanks Frick" Nick said jumping into the backseat with Whitney.
"I'll just follow you guys" Ally said walking to her car.
"Ok, then see ya there Al," Jess said tiredly giving her friend a hug. Brian opened Jess' door for her and ran around to his side and hopped in.
"You girls can just stay in my room and ill sleep in Nicks room. That way you won't have to rent one" Brian said.
"Sounds like a plan," Whitney said. Jess was already asleep.
*****BACK AT THE HOTEL*****
"Hey...Jess...."Whitney said shaking her lightly.
"Come on lets go to the room so we can go to sleep" she said trying to get her to get out of the car.
"Noo....." Jess whined half asleep. Brian came to the rescue and picked Jess up out of the car.
"Two times in one day, lucky guy." Whitney said.
They made there way up to the rooms. Nick unlocked Brian's room for the girls since Brian obviously had his hands full. He walked over to a bed and layed Jess down gently so he wouldn't wake her. Like he would anyway, she was sleeping like a log. Whitney and Nick said goodnight in the hallway in their own way, until they were interrupted by Brian for the third time that day. "Not again..."Brian said. Whitney giggled.
"Night Nicky, goodnight Brian," she said and went into the room. Brian and Nick went to their room and everyone went to sleep after a long, great day.
