"Why don't I show you?" Keller said as she leaned down towards his neck.

"No way!" Zac yelled as he saw Keller's teeth. They looked like fangs! Zac pushed past Keller, and began running towards his house as fast as he could.

"It's just a matter of time, Zac!" Keller screamed. "Remember, I'm watching you at all times," she said and then laughed evilly.

Zac kept running until he was inside. He leaned back against the door and was heaving breaths of air. "Zac, are you OK?" Jennifer asked as she and Taylor jumped off the couch.

"You wouldn't believe me if I told you," Zac said between gulps of air.

"Come sit down, Zac, you're scaring me," Jennifer said.

Jennifer led Zac to the couch and put an arm around his shoulders. "My God, you're so pale and now you're shaking. Taylor, please call Annie."

Taylor gave his brother a concerned look and then went into the kitchen to call Annie.

"Jen," Zac said, "do you believe in vampires?"

"Huh?" Jennifer said.

"Vampires. Do you believe they really exist?" Zac asked.

"I guess anything is possible," Jennifer said reasonably. "Why do you ask Zac?"

Zac told Jennifer what had happened. "I haven't told Annie yet, cause I'm scared that I'll lose her again, and I really love her."

"I know you do," Jennifer said, "but vampires, Zac?"

"I know it sounds crazy," Zac said, "but I know what I saw."

"Zac, I think you need to lie down," Jennifer said and pushed him down on the couch. "I'll be right back," she said as she heard the kitchen door open.

"Where's Zac?" Annie asked Taylor.

"Sh," Jennifer said as she walked into the kitchen. "Listen, Annie, Zac thinks there is a vampire after him."

"What?!" Annie and Taylor said together.

"The thing is," Jennifer said, "he really believes it. He is really scared, and he's concerning me."

"Let me go talk to him," Annie said as she walked out of the kitchen.

Once Annie had left, Taylor said, "He really thinks there is a vampire after him?"

"Yes," Jennifer said as she leaned her head against Taylor's shoulder.

"Man, he has hit the wall," Taylor said.

"Zac?" Annie asked quietly as she walked into the living room.

"Huh?" Zac said as he sat up.

"Are you OK?"

"What did Jen tell you?"

"Why didn't you tell me?" Annie asked quietly.

"Because, I don't want to lose you," Zac said with a pleading look in his eyes.

"Zac, you won't ever lose me," Annie said tenderly. "Just be honest with me."

Zac then told Annie what had happened. "Can't you do something about it?" Annie asked. "Like tell the police or something?"

"No," Zac said. "Cause then the headlines in the tabloids will be ZAC HANSON GETS STALKED BY CRAZED FAN, and our group can't take that."

"What if she is a vampire?" Annie asked. "What if she does get you? Then what will happen?" Tearsfilled Annie's eyes.

"I won't let that happen, I promise," Zac said as he wrapped his arms around Annie.
