"Are you sure nothing's wrong, Zac?" Jennifer asked. "You look as if you've seen a ghost."

"No, I said it was nothing!" Zac snapped.

"Watch who you're talking to!" Taylor warned.

"That wasn't nice, Zac," Annie scolded.

"Sorry, Jennifer," Zac said and looked down.

"It's OK," Jennifer said. "I was just worried about you, sheesh."

"Thanks for being concerned," Zac said. "Let's eat," he said, changing the subject.

Thirty minutes later, Annie said, "That was great. Good idea, Zac," she said as she smiled at him sweetly.

"Thanks," Zac said. He had put that girl, Keller, to the back of his mind.

"Wanna go rent some movies?" Jennifer asked as she stood up.

"Let's rent Titanic!" Annie said excitedly.

"NO!" Taylor and Zac said together.

"Why not?" Jennifer asked as she grabbed Taylor's arm.

"Leo is so gay!" Zac said.

"ZAC!" Annie said and smacked his arm.

"ZAC!" Jennifer said and swatted him with her purse.

"Why are you concerned about Leo?" Taylor asked Jennifer. "You, too, Annie. Ya'll have us."

"We should feel special, Annie," Jennifer said to Annie.

Annie winked and said, "Yeah, these two are cute, but Leo is fine!"

"HEY!" Taylor and Zac said together and Annie and Jennifer burst into giggles.

"That was great!" Jennifer laughed as she and Annie high-fived each other.

"Are we gonna go rent the movies or what?" Taylor asked as he scowled.

"Awwww, is Mr. Taylor mad?" Jennifer teased.

"Watch it," Taylor teased, "I have to take you and Annie home."

"We can walk!" Annie said, and then added, "maybe we could pick Leo up on the way."

"Walk!!" Taylor said.

"If we walk, you want be getting anything else from me," Jennifer said.

Taylor stopped and said, "No hugs? No kisses?" Taylor watched Jennifer shake her head. "Get in the car," he said.

"I love you too!" Jennifer laughed.

Fifteen minutes later, Annie, Zac, Jennifer, and Taylor were looking for videos to rent. Taylor and Zac were looking in the horror section and Annie and Jennifer were looking in the romance section.

"What about this?" Taylor asked as he held up Halloween: H20.

"Yeah, get it," Zac said and looked at the row in front of him. He peeked above the movie rack, and saw Keller on the other side of the store staring at him.
