"There has to be something we can do!" Jen said as she pushed out of Taylor's arms. "We can't sit here and do nothing while that little witch is out ruining more people's lives!" Jen walked to the window and looked outside. "She's out there!" Jen gasped.
"What!?" Taylor and Isaac said together and ran to the window.
Sure enough, Keller was outside. Once she saw them, she exposed herself. She smiled evilly at them.
Jen stormed out the door. "Jen, wait!!" Taylor yelled.
"What do you want?" Jen spat out at Keller.
"Just checking up on my new friends," Keller said.
"Haven't you done enough already?" Jen exclaimed. "Why don't you just piss off?"
Keller narrowed her eyes at Jen. "You need to watch it," she warned.
"Why?!" Jen screamed. "So you can make me one too?"
"Jen, chill!" Isaac commanded. "She wants to get you upset."
Jen glared one final time at Keller and then allowed Isaac and Taylor to bring her back inside.
"Are you crazy?" Isaac said to Jen when they came inside.
"No! I just care about my friend," Jen said.
"Jen, we know you're upset, but you can't go out and try to take over the world," Taylor said calmly.
"I just want my friend back," Jen said. "I mean, we don't know where they are or what they're doing or anything!"
Jez received a ring on her cell phone. "Hello. WHAT?!?! OK, OK, bye."
"What is it?" Ash asked.
Jez looked at Annie and Zac and said, "Keller just had a confrontation with your friend."
"Jennifer?" Annie asked.
"I guess," Jez said nonchalantly. "She just gave Keller some attitude."
"That's not surprising," Zac mumbled, and Annie jabbed him in the ribs.
"So, now we have to keep a tougher watch on her, cause the guy that was watching your house," she said as she looked at Zac, "said that Keller was mumbling about getting even with her."
"Why does Jen have to open her big mouth?" Zac asked as he plopped down on the couch.
"She's standing up for us!" Annie snapped.
"Well, if she doesn't watch it," Morgeade said, "she's going to get herself killed."
Jen tossed and turned that night in the Hanson guestroom. She jumped up, feeling as if someone were watching her. Jen slowly climbed out of bed and went to the living room.
Diana and Walker had given them a hard time about Zac being gone. They finally convinced them that he was staying the night at a friend's house. She sighed as she curled into a recliner. She wished that Annie could get in touch with her, cause she didn't know what else to tell Diana and Walker.
A sound at the window alerted Jen. She looked out the window and saw someone dart across the yard. Jen ran to the door and threw it open. "Can't you leave us alone, Keller?" Jen screamed.
Brian, the man running, stopped. She thought it was Keller! He had to tell her so that she wouldn't be scared anymore. "It's not Keller," he said as he stepped into the light.
"Who are you?" Jen asked cautiously.
"Jez and Morgeade sent me to keep a close watch on you, Zac's, and Annie's families."
"Why?" Jen asked.
"Cause she will probably come after you three now," Brian said.
