"You two can't just waltz in here and take my friend!" Jennifer said hotly.
"So you're her feisty, big-mouthed friend, huh?" Morgeade noted. "Jennifer, right?"
"Look jerk," Jennifer began, but stopped. "How did you know my name?" she asked suspiciously.
"We keep close watches on our kind," Jez said.
"Well, if you could keep such a 'close watch' why couldn't you prevent it from happening if you knew about Keller?" Jennifer shot back.
"Jennifer, calm down," Taylor soothed.
"You're not taking her!" Jennifer said. Jennifer then looked accusingly at Annie. "I can't believe you're even CONSIDERING going!" she exploded.
"It would be better for us," Annie said.
"You've been reading too many books!" Jennifer said.
"Jen, I have to agree with her," Zac said quietly. "You three are nothing but temptations to us."
"Annie, how did this even happen?" Isaac asked.
"I called for her, asking her to make me one," Annie admitted quietly.
"There must have been something in it for her," Zac said.
"It was," Annie said.
"What?" Jez and Morgeade asked together.
"That I had to make them one," Annie said as she looked at Ike, Tay, and Jennifer.
"What?" Ike, Tay, and Jennifer exclaimed.
"We have to get you away from here," Morgeade said.
"She can't do anything else to them, can she?" Isaac asked.
"She could hire someone to kill them if Annie doesn't keep her end of the bargain," Jez said.
"Maybe you should go," Jennifer said, defeated.
"We'll just check it out, we're not making any promises that we'll stay," Zac said.
"OK," Taylor said.
"Bye, Annie," Jennifer said as she hugged her friend.
"Bye for now," Annie said through tears.
Zac and Jennifer hugged, then Zac hugged his brothers. "We'll at least be back for one last time," Zac said quietly.
"Bye," Jennifer, Ike, and Tay said as they watched Morgeade, Jez, Annie, and Zac leave.
