Over the next few weeks, Pat spent more time at work than he did at home, leaving Rachel with nothing to do. And as expected, more late night trips to visit AJ. Rachel also spent much of her time with the Boys who were preparing for a massive tour. She knew the dances as well as they did. Rachel was seated on the floor watching rehersal. AJ did a turn and fell flat on his ass. Rachel burst out in laughter. “You suck Bone!” She said. “No I don’t. I just messed up once.” he said. AJ was a good dncer and quick learner and made few mistakes. rachelteased AJ for a while longer until he started chasing her. When he finally caught her, he forced her to the ground and began tickling her. Their childish behavior had been going on all day and the others were beginning to get annoyed. Even Nick, who had found their actions amusing at first was getting irritated. “Will you two stop flirting? AJ! We’re leaving in five days.” Brian yelled. “We need to work on the dances!” he continued. Each word he spoke had more emphasis than the previous word. Just then, Pat entered the room.Rachel ran to him and hugged him. AJ thought he was going to hurl. How could she possibly love him? Pat pulled a long beautiful dress from behind his back. “Here. Go change. I made us dinner reservations.” He informed her. Rachel had a huge smile on her face. At least she’s happy. AJ thought. He wished he could make her as happy as Pat did. All the others saw it. Everyone saw it except Rachel and AJ. Rachel was slowly falling for her best friend.
