Wisdom Departs
Author's Note- A short humor story, this time about Justin. First of the 'Guy Moments' series. Yes, I feel okay; I just promised Chris I'd stop picking on him!

"But I don't want to go!"
"You have to."
"Chris, please, don't make me go!"
"Justin, you have to. Those teeth aren't just gonna fall out."
"But it's gonna hurt and there's needles and-"
"Justin, you wanted me to take you-"
"Cuz you're cool! I thought you wouldn't really take me!"
Chris didn't say anything as he kept his eyes on the road. He had glanced at Justin's pathetic puppy face once, and he almost turned the car around. "It's for your own good."
Justin sighed then crossed his arms as he looked out the window. "Why do we have wisdom teeth if we don't need them and they get yanked out?" he asked the window.
~~~~~~~~
Justin followed behind Chris, shuffling his feet as they approached the oral surgeon's office.
"Chris…" he whined, his blue eyes getting big and sad.
"Come on, don't do this to me. I had mine taken out," Chris said, holding the door open for Justin.
"But…"
"Go on," Chris said, giving Justin a slight push through the doors. Before Justin could say anything, Chris announced, "We’re here for Justin Timberlake's appointment. To get his wisdom teeth pulled," he added, rubbing it in.
"Okay, go on back. The doctor will be with you shortly," the receptionist said, typing on her computer.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Justin sat on the white bed with wheels in his hospital gown. His feet nervously dangled over the edge. He had long ago lost all the color in his skin, and his hands and feet were ice cold. He was shivering from nervousness and he kept glancing from the door to the floor.
Chris laughed as he said, "You know, I almost feel sorry for you."
Justin glared at Chris. "If you're not going to help me, then get out."
"Hey, I'm sorry man. But you are going to be fine," Chris laughed.
Justin didn't reply, but kept his eyes glued to the door. As soon as it opened and the doctor stepped in, he fainted.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Justin slowly came to, and squinted at the bright light. He could barely make out the faces of his friends gathered around his bed. Then he realized his jaws were aching.
"See Curly, you made it," Chris said, smiling.
Justin's eyes adjusted and he could clearly make out each of his friend's faces. He tried to reply, but his mouth was stuffed with cotton.
"You know, I kinda like him this way," Lance teased.
"Yeah, it's kinda peaceful," Joey agreed.
"It will be for a while," the doctor interrupted, taking the cotton out of Justin's mouth. "He'll be sore for a few days, and I imagine you'll go through a lot of ice."
"So he can't sing either?" J.C. asked.
"No," the doctor quickly replied. "I will also prescribe a antibiotic for him."
Justin glared at Chris. He painfully yawned, and rasped out, "You're going down for this," then fell asleep, surrounded by his friends.
