When Nsync Strikes Back

Author's Note- I'm writing this as I'm watching the show and my BSB lover friends are with me so this should prove interesting!

"Why the hell aren't we on this show?" J.C. asked, turning on the TV.

"Lance and Justin aren't men yet," Chris teased, throwing a dirty shirt at Justin.

"I am so! How much more man like do I have to be?"

"Obviously you're doing something wrong," Joey smiled. "Or we would be up there with Sting instead of the Backdoor Boys."

"Speaking of which" J.C. started, jerking his chin in the direction of the TV. The guys got quiet and watched as the Backstreet Boys walked onstage and sat down.

"Oh my God Kevin's wearing a skirt!!!" Chris yelled, cracking up with the others.

"Like he's a man!" Joey laughed.

Various put-downs raced through all of their minds but they were laughing too hard to voice them. "Oh my God, turn it up so I can laugh some more!" Justin said, wiping a tear of laughter from his face.

Joey reached for the remote and pressed the button but he was laughing too hard and accidentally hit the power button instead.

"Joey you dick, what did you do?!" J.C. yelled.

"I don't know," Joey replied, still laughing. Thinking he changed the channel, Joey pressed all the buttons but got no result.

"Turn in back on!" Chris said, grabbing the remote from Joey's hands. He pressed the power button but nothing happened. "The batteries must be worn out," he said, throwing the remote at the floor.

"Well get up and turn it back on," Lance said.

"I don't want to get up," Chris whined, content with his spot on the floor.

"Turn it on already!" Justin yelled, jumping up. He hit the power button on the TV and sighed as he sat back down.

The TV came back on, showing the Backstreet Boys still singing with Sting. The guys immediately started cracking up again while they pointed at Kevin.

"What kind of drugs is he on?" Justin asked.

"I don't know but I want some," J.C. laughed.

"I wonder if he knows," Joey laughed.

The guys stopped laughing and looked at Joey with annoyance. "Right," Joey sighed, looking to the floor.

"You know what?" Lance asked as they started chuckling again. "What?" J.C. asked, looking at the TV as the Boys went off stage.

"Howie looks pretty hot."

The others stared at Lance and realized he was serious. "Oh my God," Chris said.

"I knew it," Justin whispered to Joey as he inched his way from Lance.

"Guys" Lance groaned, rolling his eyes.

"You said it," Justin said.

"Who is this freak?" Chris asked, interrupting them.

"That's D'Angelo stupid," Justin replied.

"He's a male stripper," J.C. added.

"Well I don't want to watch this shit," Chris said, picking himself up off the floor and turning off the TV.

"I just wanna make fun of the Backdoor Boys some more," Justin smiled.

"Okay guys, they're coming back on!" Justin called to his friends outside. The others dropped the basketball they were playing with and ran inside, sliding to a halt in front of the TV. Jenna Elfman came on the screen, beginning her long introduction for the Backstreet Boys.

"And next is the number one group in the world-"

"Hey!" the guys yelled in unison. "What about us?"

Their disappointment turned to laughter when the Backstreet Boys came onstage again. "He's still in his skirt!" J.C. laughed.

"I would laugh so hard if he tripped in it," Chris said.

"I can see him doing it too," Justin laughed.

They watched the Boys's performance a while longer while the guys were showing Show Me the Meaning of Being Lonely. The Boys were standing in a line singing very emotionally when Chris burst out laughing again.

"Look at them!" he started. "They look like they can't move!"

"I think the mic's broken," Lance said seriously.

"No, that kid just has no talent," Justin argued.

"Look at him when he gets a solo," J.C. criticized. "He gets so emotional when he sings it looks like he's constipated!"

"Probably is," Chris muttered.

The Backstreet Boys ended the song and began I Want it That Way, during which they sat in chairs.

"Look at them now," Chris said. "Now they can't stand up."

"You're very hard to please, you know that?" Justin said, giving Chris a crooked smile.

"Oh my God did you see AJ do that thing with his hand?!" J.C. yelled, laughing so hard he turned red.

"He looked like he was grabbing a girls boobs!" Justin laughed, gasping for breath.

"That's cuz he doesn't get any lovin'," Lance said. "Like me."

"You know, Sting is better than BSB," J.C. commented. "Seriously."

"We should call Jive and tell them to get rid of one of the Backstreet Boys and put Sting in the group."

The five looked at each other mischievously as the TV droned on. Then at the end of the song, Backstreet Boys patted each other on the back, including Sting.

"Eww, he's touching them!" Joey said, pointing.

"Damaged goods!" Chris yelled, laughing.

"Well I had enough of this crap," J.C. said, getting up. "I got better things to do with my time."

"Sleep?" Lance asked.

"For one," J.C. replied, smiling.

"Anything is better than watching this," Chris said. "This is a disgrace." Joey turned off the TV as they all headed out to finish their game of basketball, images of Kevin in a skirt still replaying in their minds.
