"Oh, yeah, come on, that's it, a little more…oh that's it. I want you. I need you!"

Justin, Chris, Lance, and J.C. exchanged worried glances. "Is that normal?" Justin asked.

"For Joey, yes."

Joey was planted in front of his laptop, practically humping the computer as it downloaded a picture of…a Superman comic book. He stared at it wide-eyed and drooling. "Guys, I need that."

"You need a new obsession," J.C. mumbled, turning his attention back to the hotel TV.

"You don’t understand," Joey said, staring in awe at the picture. "This is the original, first edition, one of twenty issues of the very first autographed Superman comic book. There are no other- oh my God!"

The others jumped, and looked at him alarmed. "What?" Lance asked.

"It's here! It's in that little bookstore down the street!" Joey forced a deep breath. "I can't believe it! I gotta go get it!"

"Not so fast," J.C. said, holding Joey back as he ran for the door. "We got to shoot that video, remember?"

Joey didn't give up. "So? It'll only take a minute. Please? I have to have this!"

J.C. could really care less about Superman, but he loved Joey like a brother.

"Look, how about this. We're finishing the individual scenes today, and you and Lance are the last two. How about Chris gets it for you, since he's done already?"

Joey thought about it for a minute. He didn't really trust that magazine with anyone else, but it would have to do. He wasn't about to wait until tonight, or it might get sold. "Fine, but you better be careful with that," he warned, turning to Chris.

"Scout's honor," Chris replied, motioning with his hand.

"Okay. Now let's get this over with," Joey said, starting out the door.

Once he was gone, Justin laughed, "You were never a scout."

"So? He doesn't have to know that," Chris smiled.

'Why do I always get stuck with these things?' Chris wondered angrily as he trudged down the street in the rain. 'How can the weather turn like this, too? Sunny one minute, the next-' his thoughts were interrupted as a car drove by, splashing him with water. 'I am not mad, I am not mad…'

Chris finally reached the old brick building that served as a bookstore for used and classic books. And apparently, old comic books. He opened the door and walked inside normally. 'No need to hurry now, I'm already fu-'

"Hi there! Nice weather, huh?" A pretty young girl came up to him, handing him a towel. She had long brown hair that was highlighted with six stunning violet streaks. Her brown eyes were friendly and caring, and when she came close to Chris, he could tell they were about the same height.

"Uh, yeah," Chris replied, taking the towel. "Do you greet all you customers this way?"

"Of course. We believe in having a friendly, people store that will bring people back here." Then she added in a whisper, "Do you think we'd get that many customers otherwise?"

Chris smiled and said, "Good point. I'm Chris."

"Ali," she replied, shaking his warm hand. "What can I help you with?"

"Well, my friend sent me down here to get some kind of Superman comic. He says it's really special."

"Joey?"

"Yeah," Chris laughed, shocked. "You heard of us?"

"Only a little bit," Ali smiled. 'Right,' she thought. 'I love you guys. I can just control myself and not act like a ten-year-old. I am 18.'

Chris finished drying off and Ali took the towel back. "Well, I hate to rush you or anything, but I got to get back to the set…"

"Of course," she stammered, throwing the towel down. She felt herself turning red, but swallowed her brief urge to scream with excitement. "Follow me."

She led him through the store and back to where the valuable books were kept. She heard him take an interest in some the books as they passed, as he would say some of the titles out loud. No one else was in the musty store, except the manager who was in the back room doing paper work.

After digging through some drawers, she located the comic and handed the sealed magazine to Chris. "Cool, thanks," he replied, faking an interest in the comic. "I hope this is it."

'Trust me, it is," Ali smiled. She headed back up to the cash register and Chris followed her. She allowed herself a big smile and a thank you to God as she walked, but was careful to act normal when she got behind the counter and turned back to him. "That will be $79," she said, waiting for him to pay.

Chris stood there for a second, stunned. 'Well this is just perfect. They send me out in the rain, then expect me to pay eighty freakin' dollars for ONE comic.' He dug for his wallet and handed her a credit card. "They owe me big time," he mumbled, watching her scan the card.

"But think, he'll be so grateful, he'll probably suck up to you for a week," Ali smiled. She handed the card back and placed the comic in a plastic sack. She looked up as she handed the comic back to Chris, and her eyes locked with his.

"How would you like to come to the set with me?"

"I- uh-" Ali stuttered, completely hit out of the blue. She bubbled with joy inside, and in her head she screamed yes until her mouth repeated it. "Sure."

"Cool," Chris smiled. "It's the least I can do for making Joey my slave."

"Just let me tell the uh…the guy back there," she smiled, not looking away from Chris until the last minute. She ran back to her boss, almost tripping over a fallen book. She leaned in the door of his office and said, "I gotta go. It's an emergency."

She left before he could answer, and rejoined Chris.

Ali sat on the sidewalk, out of the rain. The video producer was making the guys take full advantage of the cool, pure rain that steadily poured from the sky. Ali sat with her eyes glued to the guys, and her smile frozen on her face. Her heart raced as she watched the guys lip-sync in the rain, their shirts and pants plastered to their toned bodies. Her mind left her body and she soaked up every minute of this heaven on earth. Right now she was the envy of every girl with good taste. (hint, hint- nevermind. Kevin's the exception.)

"Okay, let's try that again. And Justin, watch your timing."

The cameras repositioned as Ali noticed something. "Wait," she called, jumping up. She trotted into the street and got extremely close to Chris.

"What?" he asked, confused. Then he felt a small tug on his pants, on his manhood. "That was down the whole time?" he asked, tearing his eyes from Ali.

The others laughed and Lance teased, "You ruined it! That was our little secret!"

"Thank you," Chris said to Ali as she stepped back. He looked down to make sure his fly was up all the way this time. Satisfied, he looked at her, noticing how perfect she was. Completely on impulse, he stepped forward and gently kissed her.

"Oh my God," Joey groaned. "He's kissing her."

Surprisingly, Ali felt calm, and met him halfway on another kiss. The others seemed to drop away and she never even noticed the camera crew had started rolling again.

Chris made up his mind to explore this girl. He liked her a lot, and wanted to have a relationship with her. He wanted to know what was inside her, what made her tick. As he closed his eyes, he showed Joey the middle finger behind his back to quiet the teasing and gagging.
