A Bath, Bubbles and Busta
Author's Note- Time for some fun!

"Chris, I said I was sorry-"
"J.C.! Look at him!"
"I know, I said I was sorry-"
Chris sighed, shaking his head. "Just forget it. That's the last time I let you walk Busta." Chris bent over in front of J.C and grabbed Busta. The Pug was panting happily, his tongue handing half way down his chest. And he was covered in dirt.
J.C. tried to apologize for the five thousandth time as he followed Chris off the bus. "Well at least let me give him a bath," J.C. pleaded. "It's the least I can do."
"No J.C., it's actually the most you can do," Chris said, walking towards the parking lot where Joey had just pulled up. "I can wash my own dog. Knowing you, you'll probably drown him or something."
"What's wrong?" Joey asked, opening the door of his rental car.
"Oh nothing, J.C. just took my dog for a walk and then let him run through a construction site," Chris mumbled, getting in the passenger side, holding Busta under his arm.
"I did not let him!" J.C. started. "He pulled out of my grasp!"
Chris held Busta up to the windshield, letting the dog dangle. "THIS dog pulled out of your grasp? This fifteen pound Pug?"
J.C. blushed. "Well, yeah…"
Chris glared at him. "Joey, start the car."
"Um, it is started," Joey mumbled.
Chris turned his icy glare to Joey. "Fine then, just go!"
"Yes sir," Joey sighed, backing up. He glanced apologetically at J.C. before turning his eyes back to the road.
Once the guys had made it to the highway, Joey asked, "Where are we going?"
"Car wash," Chris mumbled, gently petting Busta as to not knock the dirt off in the car.
"Car wash?" Joey echoed. "Why?"
"Can you think of a better idea?" Chris snapped.
"Calm down dude," Joey smiled. "God, what crawled up your ass?"
Chris smiled, coming up with a comeback but opting not to use it. "Nothing," he replied. "I just wish J.C. would be more careful with my dog."
Joey cast a glance at the panting, drooling Pug that sat on Chris's lap. The dog was covered in dirt from head to tail, and most of it was ground in under the fur. For the most part, Busta was black.
"Don't laugh," Chris said, flicking off a clump of dirt that fell off of Busta's collar.
Joey tried to contain his smile. "I wasn't laughing," he said, watching the road. He waited a few seconds, then mumbled, "God he stinks."
Chris sighed, throwing his hands in the air. "I know!" he said, shaking his head. "J.C. trashed my dog!"
Joey cracked up. "I don't think that's possible," he said. "Busta has always been trashed."
"Hey now little boy," Chris teased, covering Busta's ears. "Don't insult royalty."
Joey smiled and shook his head as he pulled into the car wash. "May I ask a stupid question?" he asked.
"You always do."
"Why are we at a car wash?" Joey asked, flipping Chris off as he parked.
"To wash my dog," Chris replied, rolling his eyes at Joey before opening the door.
Joey thought about it for a while. "Oh. Should have known."
Chris cradled Busta in his arms as he walked to the self-service car wash. He earned some strange glances from other car owners, but most were coming from Joey. Chris walked into the drive through garage and set Busta on the ground.
"You need help or anything?" Joey asked, trotting up to Chris.
Chris fed the money into the machine and picked up the hose. "You can hold Busta."
"I ain't holding him while you got your hand on that-"
Chris squirt Joey with the hose square in the chest. "Yes, you are."
Joey felt his now soaking shirt. "You are paying for this," he mumbled, kneeling down to hold onto Busta's collar.
"Fine," Chris replied. "It's not like I don't have five dollars."
"Watch it shorty," Joey warned.
Chris remained silent as he rinsed Busta, getting some of the dirt off with the water. He set the hose down and turned to get shampoo, then Joey grabbed the hose, nailing Chris in the back.
"Got ya!" Joey laughed, watching Chris spin around and snatch the hose out of his hands.
"You are such an ass!" Chris yelled, his voice echoing in the concrete shelter.
Joey cracked up. "I couldn't resist."
Chris rolled his eyes and poured some of the liquid soap on Busta. He bent down across from Joey and began rubbing in the soap, forming a mound of bubbles on the dog's back.
"Isn’t that car soap?" Joey asked.
"What if it is?" Chris challenged.
"You can't use that on a dog," Joey replied.
"You see me doing it don't you?"
"Well yeah, but-"
"Okay then. Shut up."
Joey pouted. "Why didn't you just go to the groomer?"
"They always charge like a hundred dollars just for a wash," Chris complained. "I'll just do it myself."
Joey scooped up some of the bubbles that had dripped on the floor. He looked at Chris, who had just turned to get the hose. Bravely, Joey flung the handful of bubbles on Chris.
Chris jumped and turned back, looking at the bubbles. "Did you do that?"
Joey nodded, trying not to smile.
Chris picked up a clump of bubbles and threw them at Joey.
Joey began laughing as he picked up more bubbles and hurled them back at Chris, hitting the older singer in the face.
"Oh now it's on!" Chris yelled, jumping over Busta and pouncing on Joey.
Joey fell back on the concrete and easily pushed Chris off him. Joey grabbed the nearby hose and turned it on, hitting Chris at full blast. Busta jumped up, shaking the soap off and sending bubbles everywhere, covering the guys and the concrete floor.
"Son of a-" Chris yelled as he scrambled to get off the slippery floor.
Joey tried to get up also but slipped, sending the water flying as he went down. Before he knew it, Chris was on him again, rubbing bubbles in his hair.
"Damn you!" Joey teased, trying to wriggle out from underneath Chris.
Busta was jumping on Joey as the Italian struggled with Chris, and he was barking up a storm. Chris was reaching for the hose while Joey kept it just out of the older man's grasp. Water was flying everywhere and somehow the bubbles just kept building up.
Chris finally snatched the hose from Joey. "It won't shut off!" he yelled over Busta's yapping.
Chris was sitting on Joey's chest and the two desperately tried to turn off the hose. "Fix it!" Joey laughed, getting soaked.
"I can't!" Chris replied, messing with the switch. Busta hopped on Joey's stomach behind Chris, shaking again and sending more bubbles flying.
"Would you two get off me!" Joey yelled, pushing against Chris.
Suddenly the water shut off and Chris looked at Joey. "How'd you do that?"
"I didn't do it," Joey replied.
"Would you gentlemen care to explain all of this?"
Chris and Joey looked up to see an older man staring down at them. A small crowd had gathered at the entrance, and some were female.
Chris got off Joey, nearly slipping in the bubbles. "I uh…we were, um…I had to wash my dog?"
The man stared at them skeptically.
Joey got up too, picking up Busta. "We'll be going now," he smiled, grabbing Chris by the shirt collar.

"You what?" Justin questioned.
"How can you get kicked out of a car wash?" Lance asked.
"Well look at them," J.C. laughed.
Chris and Joey looked guiltily to one another. They pointed at each other and said, "He started it."
J.C. picked a clump of bubbles off Chris's head. "Well at least you got Busta clean."
"Yeah, and you still won't be walking him," Chris said.
"Fine," J.C. replied. "And you two stay out of car washes."
Finish!
