Revenge~ Gettin' Even (BK Style)

"Oh my God."

"The world is ending."

Justin, Joey and Chris stood planted in front of the doors to Burger King. J.C. and Lance were ahead of them, holding open the doors. "Guys, come on," J.C. groaned.

"I am not going in there!" Joey said, crossing his arms.

"Don't touch the door!" Chris yelled. "You'll get contaminated!"

Lance looked at the harmless Backstreet Boys posters that hung on the glass door. "You guys are insane!" he said, banging the door right where Kevin's head was. "It's only a poster!"

"Oh my God, he touched it!" Justin said, covering his eyes.

J.C. sighed. "Fine. Lance and me are going in. When you start getting hungry, you know where the door is."

Joey, Justin and Chris watched as J.C. and Lance disappeared inside the Backstreet Boys adorned Burger King. "They wont make it out alive," Chris sighed, shaking his head.

The three stood outside in the hundred-degree temperature a while longer. Joey looked at Chris as a drop of sweat slowly crawled down the younger man's back. Justin's stomach growled audibly, and Chris shifted his weight. A car drove by. Another drop of sweat formed.

"Well just don’t touch anything," Chris warned as they bolted for the door.

A blast of cold air met them as they kicked open the doors to Burger King. J.C. and Lance were waiting expectantly in line. "I see you haven't vaporized," J.C. smiled.

Chris made a disgusted face. "This is so dirty…it just reeks of no-talent losers."

"Gross!" Justin yelled, pointing at the counter. There were stacks of Burger King crowns, decorated with caricatures of the Backstreet Boys.

"I think I'm gonna be sick," Joey said, placing a hand over his mouth.

Chris grabbed a napkin and picked up a crown by one point. "I got plans for you," he smiled.

As J.C. and Lance ordered the food, the 'kids' tried not to contaminate themselves. "I say we buy a CD and brake it in half and use it as a pizza cutter," Joey smiled.

"No, don't spend any money on them!" Chris exclaimed. "Are you insane?"

"They just had to be better than us, didn't they?" Justin sneered. "They had to have three CD's, and make them enhanced. Like that makes them cool or something."

"God I hate them," Joey stated.

"I couldn't work here. I'd torch the place," Chris said, looking around. "Look, if you stare at a sign long enough, your eyes sting!"

"Guys, catch!" Lance said, throwing them cups. Startled, Justin, Joey and Chris each caught a cup. "Oh sick!" Chris yelled, dropping his cup and stomping on it.

Joey and Justin mimicked his action, crushing the BSB infested cup.

Lance backed away from them.

The three looked up innocently. "Killed it," Joey announced proudly.

"I gotta wash my hands," Chris whined, rubbing them on Justin.

"Pick a seat and let's eat," J.C. said, pushing the three apart.

Lance followed close behind, watching the others wearily.

"I can never eat here again," Justin grumbled.

"I say we tear all these posters down and start a bonfire out front," Joey smiled.

"We'd probably get arrested," Chris said.

Justin noticed that Chris was still carrying the crown. "What are you doing with that?" he asked.

"You'll see," Chris replied.

They followed J.C. to a corner table and sat down, being sure to face away from all the posters. J.C. shook his head. "You guys are acting like little kids."

"I don’t know why I hate them so much," Justin said.

"I have never wanted anyone to die as much as I do now," Joey said. "They didn't even do anything."

"They got their contract signed last year, so don't think they're copying us," Lance said.

"So?" Chris asked. "They're still trying to out do us. I think they're full of it. They can't let anyone have the spotlight but them."

J.C. rolled his eyes and started eating.

Joey took his sandwich off the tray and nearly died. "Ew! They touched our food!"

The others looked at the tray and found a picture of the Boys on the paper that lined the tray. Chris took a napkin and carefully turned the paper over. "There."

"Thanks man," Joey smiled.

J.C. and Lance looked at each other with annoyance.

"See?" Lance asked. "You guys didn't die."

"Yeah," J.C. added. "That wasn't so bad, was it?"

"Hell yeah," Justin said.

"I think I got E-coli or something," Joey said.

"Can we go to McDonald's now?" Chris asked.

J.C. looked at them in the rear view mirror. "You guys are insane, did I tell you that yet?- What the hell is that?"

Lance turned around and looked past the smiling Justin, Joey and Chris. Something was flying in the air behind them as they drove down the highway. It twirled and swung wildly from side to side, attached by a piece of green twine. Lance looked at Chris. "You didn't."

"What?" Chris smiled.

"What did he do?" J.C. asked.

"We appear to be dragging the Backstreet Boys down highway 29 at 70 miles per hour," Lance sighed.

Joey gave Chris a high five as they turned to watch the cardboard crown get tore up by the wind.

Finish!

True story, I suggest it, it'll make you feel a lot better.
