America's Favorite Cover Band With A Trombone Instead Of A Lead Singer

« Back to Homepage

COVER ME BADD just wrapped up a 6-month weekly gig on the main stage of the Galapagos Arts Space in Williamsburg. COVER ME BADD has been house band for the NY Comedy Film Festival, and has appeared in each of the last two Toyota Comedy Festivals at NBC's Here Theatre. The band spent 2000 as the house band for the weekly live comedy show THIS THURSDAY at the Kraine Theater.

On their own, COVER ME BADD has produced and hosted a sell-out concert event, DISCOVER ME BADD, in March 2001 at CBGB's Gallery.

Cover Me Badd
The lads in Cover Me Badd have been lying low of late, but my guess is they sleep easier: CMB seems like the jokey drunken side project that could overwhelm one’s true musical aspirations. But their amiable take on ’80s and ’90’s pop, sloppily rendered but with bravura trombone vocals, melts the heart of even this kitsch curmudgeon. It might feel like a Michelob commercial circa 2005, but their irreverence is pharmaceutical grade. - Village Voice
