Chapter 9

12:35 AM:
"Bye, Nancy, Bye Devin. Nice meeting you." JC said.
"Bye." They said waving.
"Wait a sec." Chris said confused. I thought that you three were sisters."
"We are. She's staying the night at Nancy's though." Savannah lied.
"Oh."
"I'm getting tired." McKenna said.
"Yeah, me too." Savannah yawned.
"Do you mind if we run somewhere really quick before we take you home?" Lance asked.
"I guess not." Savannah said.
"Where?" McKenna asked.
"Um…Somewhere?" Joey replied quickly.
"Whatever." Savannah said rubbing her eyes.
"Can we get a few more pictures for old times sake?" Justin asked.
"Fine." McKenna absolutely hated taking pictures... Well, posed ones anyway.
"Be happy!" Joey said energetically.
"Okay, how's this?" Savannah said putting a fake smile.
"You look like a little indian girl Savannah!" Justin laughed.
"You do." Chris began to laugh.
"Should I take my pig tails out." Savannah asked.
"No, leave them in for a few pictures." Joey said. "They're cute." He added.
"Say cheese!" Lance said.
"Cheese!" McKenna and Savannah said as they hugged.
"Give me something…Goofy." Lance instructed.
"We can do goofy." They said together. "Hold on. Let us plan this." McKenna said.
"Let's." Savannah said with a grin.
"Okay. We're ready." McKenna said as Savannah got up in a handstand. McKenna then grabbed a hold of her ankles and they both smiled.
"That's what I'm talkin' 'bout'!" Lance joked as he prepared to take the picture.
"Wait!" Joey yelled out.
"What?" Lance asked impatiently.
"Yeah, what?" Savannah repeated. "My blood is rushing to my head and I can't stay like this much longer."
"Let's see some stomach." He said raising an eyebrow. He then un-tucked the front of Savannah's shirt, so her belly button was exposed.
"Ready?"
"Yes! Take the picture already!" She yelled.
"All done." Lance said after taking the picture.
"Okay, guys. Let me get a picture of you and Kenna." Savannah said. "Here's how I want you to pose."
"Pose?" Chris asked.
"Yeah, pose." She responded, copying Chris' tone of voice. "I want Joey, then Chris, then Lance, JC, and finally Justin. Guys I want you all in a straight line. I also want you all to hold Kenna in your arms. Joey you'll have her feet and Justin you'll have her shoulders. For the rest of you guys, obviously you'll have her middle."
"You crazy!?" McKenna asked.
"Do you even have to ask, Kenna? Get in their arms."
"Fine."
"Perfect." She said snapping the picture. "Great! Okay, now I want a pyramid. Joey, Justin, and Chris on the bottom. Kenna you on top, and Lance and JC in the middle."
"Okay, let's go guys!" Chris said.
"Smile please."
"Now you." McKenna said. "I want you to pose with them exactly how I did."
"Hold on. Let me take out my braids." A minute or two later she had finished. "Okay, I'm done."
"Ready?" She asked.
"Yes!" They all yelled.
"Cool! It looked great!" McKenna said. "Okay. Now, Hollywood I want some of you and Joey."
"Excuse me?" She said.
"Just sit on his shoulders." McKenna instructed.
"Hop on!" Joey said.
Savannah sighed. "If you say so." Savannah stepped onto the couch and then onto Joey's shoulder's.
"You're really light." Joey said amazed.
"Maybe that's because she doesn't eat!" McKenna blurted out.
"This is ridiculous, Kenna."
"Yeah, but you two look so cute together."
"Joey, are you blushing?" Chris asked.
Joey just shot him a look and then smiled for the camera.
"Now, I want a sweet picture."
"What do you mean?" Savannah asked.
"Stand in front of him and Joey you put your arms around her waist and rest your chin on the top of her head."
"Okay." He said without hesitation.
Justin sat watching this from the couch with a disgusted look on his face. He knew that Joey was slowly stealing the heart of the woman that he wanted.
"Okay, one picture of just the guys." McKenna said.
"Okay." They said in unison.
"Thank you." Savannah said as she took the picture.
"I'm tired. Wake me up when we get to the house." McKenna said.
"Yeah, me too."
"Okay." Justin said slyly.
"You can sleep in those two bunks over there." JC said.
"Night." The girls said together. "Night." The five guys said.
"Justin, go tell the driver to drive us to that one hour photo place." JC said.
"Why me?" He whined.
"Because, you're the closest."
"Fine!" He said stomping away.
"I hope the girls like how the pictures turn out." Lance said.
"Yeah, me too."
"I'll be right back." Joey said standing up. "I'm hungry."
"I'm hungry, too." Lance said. "Wait up, man!"
"Chris." JC said.
"Yeah?"
"I think that we should blow up the pictures of Savannah and Joey. What do you think?" He asked as Lance and Joey walked back into the room with sandwiches and chips and sodas.
"What do we think about what?" Joey asked.
"Nothing." JC said.
"Sounds like a good idea." Chris replied after thinking for a moment.
"What's a good idea?" Joey persisted.
"Nothing. Just go eat, or something." JC said as the bus stopped. "Let's go Chris."
"Go where?" Lance asked.
"We're just gonna go get the pictures developed. You guys stay here and eat. It won't take us long." Chris said walking out of the room.
"Okay." Joey and Lance said as they began to devour their food.

Sunday 12:20 PM:
It's awful quiet today. Savannah thought to herself. I wonder if Damien went out to look for a job. As her eyes focused she realized that she wasn't in her bed, or her room, or even her own house for that matter. She was on the bus.
"Hello? Is anyone awake?" Savannah called out as she went to look for McKenna. "Kenna! Where is everyone!?"
"We're up here! In the kitchen!" She heard Lance call out.
"I'm dead." She said walking into the kitchen. "Where's Kenna?" "Going to the bathroom." Chris said as he came in holding a pitcher of orange juice and fresh, hot pancakes.
"Oh, pancakes! My favorite!" Savannah said grabbing one off of the plate.
"You're welcome." Chris said.
"Oh yeah, thanks." She said. "Where's the phone?"
"Over there." Justin said with a mouth full of cereal.
"Thanks." Ring Ring "Hello." An unfamiliar voice answered the phone.
"Um, is my brother there?"
"Yeah, but he's in the shower."
"Who is this?"
"Kevin."
"Oh yeah! I totally forgot that you were there."
"Where are you? Damien is really worried?"
"He is?" Savannah sounded surprised.
"Yeah. He loves you to death. He's always talking about you and stuff. He's really proud of you."
Savannah just shook her head with disbelief as she smiled to herself. "But really, where are you?"
"Well, we went to a concert last night. Then we ended up heading to the beach, and-"
"Who did you go to the beach with?"
"A few of my friends, Kenna, and NSYNC."
"You know them?"
"Yeah, I have for like three months."
"Oh well, here's your brother."
"Hello." Damien said. "Who is this?"
"It's Savannah." Kevin whispered.
"Where the hell are you!?" He yelled furiously.
"Chill out!" Savannah said.
"Chill out! Chill out!"
"Yeah, We're fine."
"Who's we?"
"Me and Kenna." She told him. "God, don't have a coronary." Savanah said calmly.
"You've been missing for over fourteen hours and I shouldn't be upset!? Is that what you're saying! If your mom would have called, what would I have said? She left me in charge! She's away on buisness and I don't think she would be happy to know you're out galavanting around town!" "We're safe, okay? Besides, we'll be home soon."
"When is soon?"
"I don't know. Hold on, I'll ask one of the guys."
"The guys?! The guys?!" He repeated. "Who the hell is she with!?" Damien asked turning to Kevin.
"Hey JC. When will we be home?"
"Um, well…we won't be back on the east-coast for another week." JC said. "We could fly you guys home. But, if you wanna stay that's fine with us, too."
Savannah nodded. "Um…Where are we, exactly?"
"On our way to California."
"Okay." She said trying to stay as calm as possible.
"I'm really sorry." JC said apologetically. "We all fell asleep and the bus driver followed the schedule."
"That's okay. It wasn't your fault."
"Uh, Damien. We won't be home for a week or so."
"I'm going to kill you when you get home!' He yelled. "I'm gonna kill her!" He said turning to Kevin.
"Gotta go. Bye!" Savannah said quickly hanging up the phone.
