Chapter Four
While Nick and Mar were dancing to Christina Aguilera's 'I Turn To You', Nick had his arms around Mariana's waist, and she was like hugging him.
Mariana had her head on his shoulder and he had his head on her head cause she was a little shorter, not too much, he was 6'2'' and she was 5'9''.
While they were dancing Nick spoke up.
N- hey, do you wanna talk about what happen ealrier? you were like crying when I showed up at your house
M- oh, umm, well my boyfriend...
When she said 'boyfriend' Nick's heart broke into two pieces.
M-... we broke up.
Nick's heart slowly became one piece again, but still he was sorry for her.
She didn't want to tell him that she broke up with him, cause she broke up with Christian to be with Nick.
N-oh, I'm sorry, what happened?
M- well, when I told him that I was going to go out with you guys he got really mad
She could see Nick's worried face, cause he didn't mean to make her brake up with her boyfriend, he didn't even know she had a boyfriend.
M-Oh, don't worry it's not your fault.
She assured him.
M-Actually I was really tired of him being mad at every little thing I did, he was very controlling, at first I thought it was sweet that he cared about me that much, but then it suffocated me, I couldn't do anything without telling him, you know?
N-yeah, that happened to me once...
And they kept talking and dancing.
At 12am Mariana told the guys she had to go because she had to move to a hotel, cause right now she was living with her boyfriend and she had just broke up with him. So she had to move.
N-ok, I'll drive you.
M-no, it's ok, I'll take a taxi
N-come on, it's midnight and you have to go to his house, grab everything then go to the hotel, you can't take a taxi, I'll drive you.
Brian-Listen to the gentleman.
Everyone laughed
M-umm, ok
N-good!
So they went to Christian's house, of course Nick waited out side.
Mariana walked in and didn't see Christian, so she figured he was sleepin'.
She went to his room, and saw him there in the bed sleeping, a tear run down her face, even though she broke up with him, she was still a little sad that he didn't understand
her, but she brush the tear away and then went to the guest room, where all her stuff was.
She packed everything really quick and then wrote a note, and stick it in the door of the room she was staying, it said:
"Good Bye Christian, I'm sorry things didn't work out, have a good life -Mariana"
She went outside and Nick grabbed the bags from her hands and put them in the back of his prowler.
Nick drove to the hotel the bsb were staying at and she signed in and they gave her a room in the same floor the bsb had their rooms.
So Nick helped her get the bags in the room and then
M-ok, thanks for everything Nick
N-no problem.
There was an awkward silence between the two of them for a second.
N-ok, well I better go, I have to get up early tomorrow, I have rehearsal, so... bye
M-bye, and thanks again.
Nick went to kiss her on the lips but then he backed off and kissed her cheek.
Even though he had just met her, he liked her a lot, but he didn't know if he should kiss her or not since she just broke up with her boyfriend.
He turned around to go to his room and...
M-Nick!
N-yeah?
When he turned around to face Mar, she kissed him softly on the lips, he kissed her back a little more passionate and they stood there for about a minute kissing, then they pulled away, and they were both out of breath.
N-I'll call you tomorrow, ok?
M-ok, good night
N-good night, he gave her a peck on the lips and walked away.
