Chapter 9 ~In Leigh's Room~
“Hey Leigh?! Miss Williams!?”
“Dr., she went into a coma again.”
“Thanks, well, will you do me a favor and keep an eye on her? Someone as wonderful as
this young woman needs extra attention.”
“Are you saying you like her?”
“I don’t really know her, but she’s beautiful and while I was talking with her parents, I
overheard a conversation between this boy and twin girls. Leigh sounds very nice.
“OK, whatever you say Dr.”
“I’ll be back in a few minutes. I”m going to tell the family that she’s in another
coma.”
“OK, whatever you say Dr.”
He walked into the waiting room where everyone waiting to see Leigh was at.
“I”m so sorry to tell you this Mr. and Mrs. Williams but you’re daughter has gone into
another coma. We do know that she’s not paralyzed and she has her memory except for
what happened as they were driving home. I’m going to be honest with you. Since she
went into another coma, she’ll either stay sleeping for a long time or either she’ll never
wake up. The latter is what happens the majority of the time. I’m really sorry.”
“Oh gosh. I guess you could go ahead and take her off the...”
“Dr. Thorin! Come quick! There’s something wrong with the patient in Room 126!”
The doctor ran out of the waiting room. Everyone in the room jumped up and started
talking at once.
“That’s Leigh’s room!”
“Oh my gosh! I hope she’s OK!”
When the doctor arrived in Leigh’s room, Leigh was screaming and crying.
“Christian stop! Stop please!! Stay in the right lane! Stop swerving Christian!
“What the heck is going on?”
“She appears to be remembering the accident.”
