As they were eating, the waiter brought over a plate of food and Julia made a face.
"What is this?" she said crinkling her nose.
"Shark." Kevin informed her.
"Okay, that's just gross." she said.
Brooke and Brian laughed at her and she threw a roll at their heads. After eating, they all headed back to the hotel. Everyone in the group fell asleep peacefully, but different things were going on in AJ and Gabby's room.
Neither were mad anymore, they were both just hurt. Gabby got changed into pajamas and climbed into her bed. AJ got in his and put on headphones.
Gabby turned off the light and turned towards AJ. She laid in the darkness wondering why things had turned out like they had. She watched him close his eyes and adjust the volume of whatever he was listening to. She wanted so bad to get up and go over there. Just lay next to him and tell him she loves him. Gabby turned over on her side and cried softly. She began to think of how much she loved AJ and she cried harder. Gabby buried her face in a pillow to silence her sobs.
AJ was laying in bed listening to music when he heard something. He pressed the pause button and heard Gabby crying. AJ got up and went to Gabby's bed. He laid down in back of her and wrapped his arms soothingly around her. Gabby didn't know what to do but cry harder, because she was so confused.
"Shh...shh...baby, everything will be okay." AJ said calmly.
Gabby turned around to face AJ.
"I'm so sorry." she said through tears.
"It's okay. We both have made a million mistakes, let's just forget them all. All that's important to me is you." he said rubbing her back to calm her down.
Gabby nodded, "AJ you know when you told me you loved me the other day?"
AJ wiped a stray piece of hair away from her face, "I meant it."
Gabby smiled, "I love you AJ."
"I love you too."
Gabby kissed his lips softly and nuzzled against him. She fell asleep peacefully in his arms.
